Hi Everyone!
I've been laying low the over the weekend. Friday I woke up at 6:30 and as I headed down then stairs I realized my the right side of my face and right arm was numb. Not like they were asleep but numb. I thought give it a minute and it will go away. By 7AM I woke up Mr. M. and called 911. I thought I was having a stroke. The EMTs arrived started asking questions and hooked me up to a machine. The female started doing physical tests on me all the while asking questions. Both EMTs told me that I was NOT in stroke mode but if I wanted to go to the hospital for further tests I could go. I felt OK with their assesment and refused the hospital. About an hour later the numbness was all gone. Mr. M. would not allow me to do ANYTHING Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Even though I was feeling fine. I have been going to physical therapy for my left shoulder and I do believe, now, that with all of the exercises something must have gotten pinched or upset. I will see her tomorrow. I guess what I am trying to say and what the EMTs said to me. Is no matter how sketchy the symptoms, if you feel like a stroke is coming on call 911.
Geeeesss, 70 and everthing falls apart. LOL
Now for some drinks to get me into the party.
