Tuesday Flowers

 Hi Everyone!
Today the sun was shinning so I thought I would check out the soil in my big garden. Yep, it is rich and so ready for planting. I'm not going to take the chance of hurting myself so I will let the soil sit this year. Feed it and have it ready for, maybe, next year. In the mean time I walked across the street to my good friend Elke's house and took some photos of her flower garden. She was out weeding. We had a nice visit too.

It's spring here and it's showing.

  1. Bom dia minha querida amiga Nicole. As fotos ficaram maravilhosas. Difícil escolher a flor mais linda. Acho que algumas dessas, não temos no Brasil. Grande abraço do seu amigo brasileiro. Uma excelente terça-feira, para você e todos os seus familiares.

  13. Hello Nicole, it's easy to see that in your friend's garden there are all the colours of spring. Lovely post! Glad to hear you're enjoying the sunny weather in Oregon. On the contrary, the weather is still cloudy here. That's not the typical spring weather yet.
    Greetings,
    G.

  15. Beautiful flower photos. Your neighbor’s garden looks really inviting. Several of our neighbors also have quite impressive masses of blossoms like daffodils and bloodroot and hellebore.

  27. I like the way the visit across the street slipped naturally into the day. Those little neighbourly moments, a quick chat while someone is weeding, often end up being the best part. The flowers are lovely, of course, but it’s the shared time and the easy conversation that give the day its warmth. So beautiful.
