Friday Face OFF Portrait Challenge

 Welcome to
I'm so excited to see what everyone has created. The challenge is to create a face with one or more or all of these expressions.
Happy, Sad, Tired, Surprised or/and angry.
In addition, the challenge is optional and I look forward to seeing your posts that have faces in them.
So on with the show.

I decided since I'm hosting the Challenge I should create all of the expressions.
The first one is, Happy
I drew her yesterday and don't have any progression photos. She was done in a hurry. Click on her to see more detail.

I did leave the nose ring off.

Next is Sad.

Next is Tired.

This was so much fun to draw
Surprised.

Is he a cutie or what?

Last is Anger

That's it for my FFO portrait challenge art pieces. I hope you enjoyed them.
Don't forget SITAR

Sharing with Gillena

Now it's your turn to show me your face.

  2. That first was created in a hurry?! You must be kidding me, Nicole, she is beautiful and would take me... a looong time! And still I could´t catch her like that. What a very happy face!
#2 came out great, too. And well, yes - ALL of them. Thank you for showing the progress! Have a great Friday, too, and... Chapeau on your work, I´m impressed!

  16. Wow wow wow! Nicole, these portraits are fantastic. I love them all - and am almost tempted to pull my post off the Linky. The expressions in the faces are excellent. I find it so hard to draw or paint faces with any kind of expression. I really admire your work.

  25. Dear Nicole, you've captured all these expressions so wonderfully! I'm thrilled—also by the very special faces you chose. My dark circles around the eyes currently resemble the young, tired woman - who also seems sad. This mix is quite close to how I feel today, as our last hospital visit to my sister-in-law was very depressing, and the week so far has been quite exhausting. Plus, I've caught a cold... We're visiting Anita again tomorrow. Thank you for your empathetic words!
Hugs, my dear, and all the best from Austria
