No Kings Protest

 Hi Everyone!

Today Oregon along with the rest of the US and many other countries came together for No Kings Protest.
My friend and I walked a bit as protesters in my little town. I couldn't stay too long, (ya know lupus) but everyone was there for the same reason.

This is Eugene, OR. in front of the Federal building

This is Portland, OR.

Salem the state capital
Every county in Oregon participated. From the large cities to the smallest of towns. We showed up.

That is wonderful, Nicole. It was on our local news last night reminding people about No Kings today. Sadly, I couldn't attend, but my thoughts were there with those who did.

Good on you for being there, and there were protests in Australia in the main cities too.

nombreux admirateurs malheureusement.

The protests spread to other parts of the world. There were many here in Canada. Whether they will do any good or not is another matter entirely.

A good turn out :-D

I am not sure what's happening with your recent post, but I cannot comment. I won't let me click on the comment section to type anything.

"The only dangerous minority is the rich" -- SO TRUE. Great photos and a great turnout! Incidentally, Nicole, Mr Linky and your comment section on your SITAR post are not working properly. Can't input anything into them.

Our protest looked very much like yours — and so did the thousands of others. Unfortunately, the tyrants in Washington are not paying attention. I’m afraid to check on whether the midterm elections can really succeed in changing things.

...Nicole, I haven't been able to link to SITAR! 😢
