Friday Face OFF FFO

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This is the place to show off your face art.
You know, ANY type of face, nature, the face of a flower, photography, drawings, paintings, AI. There just needs to be a face in your blog post, a link back to my blog and please use the image below.
Thank you.
I've been trying to get several art pieces done each week. A few of them are for the FFO Portrait Challenge so I can't show those.
I was so engrossed that I didn't take photos. This is about 1/2 way through.
And then I finished with this.

I also sketched out this face.
I think subconsciously I drew tired and sad. LOL

Here are a few AI

Now for some features

Don't forget April 24, 2026 is the day to show off your FFO Challenge face (s)
Create a face that is one or all of these expressions.
Happy, Sad, Tired, Surprised.
Any medium accepted.

Also join in with SITAR this Sunday Anything Art.
That's it for me.
Now show me your face
Nicole

I thought now that I can leave comments again (finally) I would join you for FFO. I really like the last face you drew. She looks sad and tired to me, too. Still, she is a beautiful woman. And I am always in awe of your AI faces.

I love that pastel portrait. I pray your hearth is improving. Blessings!

I really like the sketched face. She reminds me of someone, I just can't decide who it is.

Tired and sad, yes, but both portraits capture those feelings exactly! I particularly like the beautiful blending on your first one -- that's done in pastels, right?

I am just thinking that it is better to FFO than to FAFO.

Your pastel face came out super, and I love seeing the part way finished one. What a difference. You got great skin tone color too. And nice drawings also Nicole. I wonder what she is thinking about as she looks a little worried. Have a super FRiday. hugs-Erika

We see so many faces each day, if only we look closely enough.

Again a pleasure to see faces here in different ways. It's always a surprise to find. Thank you for sharing and for hosting.

As I told you from time to time - I always like your painted or drawn faces more that the AI created. Although the possibilities are so enourmous. But real artwork is always better for me.
Have a good time and all the best

NIcole, the faces you create always amaze me. I really like the portrait of the woman with the downcast eyes. There is something very calm about her that draws me in. Your faces always "speak" - I have no idea how you do that.

Do any of your faces have names? I mean are you drawing someone you know or are you just coming up with a face out of your imagination? Whichever the case, they are always awesome!!! So, what do you tell AI when you want to draw faces like the ones you drew today. I don't know if I am intimidated by AI or if I just can't think of the words that would describe what I want. I asked before if I could take a picture over and have it do an AI version, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet (open to suggestion :) Anyway, love your features ... two extremes for sure 🤣 See you this Sunday (that's the plan anyway :)

It's your ability to capture emotion that makes your portraits compelling, Nicole. I'm sure I've seen the second woman waiting at a bus stop here in Waikiki. Tired and sad seems to be going around these days. Part of it I think is the weight of accumulating uncertainty. I admire your grit as you continue to create amazing faces. I hope you start feeling better soon. ❤️🌺

I like both faces, the finished first one is my favourite. She looks quite spooky without eyes and things.

I always like to see your different faces, Nicole.

The unfinished face looks more monster-like than the monsters! But it’s very nice when finished. I hope your eyes will get better as mysteriously as they deteriorated!

I have been thinking about your faces, and have been trying to paint some myself. I'm trying to keep them really loose. I started out trying todo too realistic and I just didn't like how mine looked. Maybe I'll post them on my blog. And some day I will try to do the computer work to get my link here.
