Hi Everyone!
In January, this year, the Chinese unveiled, Moya.
The robot’s debut comes at a time when humanoid development is branching in multiple directions globally. Some companies deliberately design robots with cartoon-like or stylised appearances to avoid human comparison, while others emphasise clearly mechanical forms suited to industrial work. A smaller group, including DroidUp, continues to pursue highly realistic designs that aim to cross the uncanny valley rather than avoid it.
DroidUp is not presenting Moya solely as a domestic robot. According to SCMP, the company envisions the humanoid being used across healthcare, education, and other commercial environments where human-robot interaction plays a central role.
Rather than focusing on industrial tasks or high-speed athletic demonstrations, the company appears to be targeting settings that require prolonged interaction and a sense of approachability. Moya is expected to enter the market by late 2026, with a reported starting price of around 1.2 million Japanese yen, according to figures cited in the SCMP video. Final pricing and availability details have not yet been formally announced. sited here

It's moving too fast for me.
I've read articles where it is hoped these robots will boost staffing levels in seniors homes and nursing homes. Now I know what to look forward to, lol.
I share hope of Debra honestly and it will be huge achievement if put in such places like senior help and other many asylums that require routine care
You are amazing writer my friend, very well written indeed 🥰👍
I enjoyed the video,she is beauty 😍
Too spooky
this reminds me of the novel by nobelist Kazuo Ishiguro about a robot. Title: Klara and the Sun. It’s an imagined world of companion robots, in a world where children llike Klara live lonely lives without other human children.
Information about that humanoid robot I didn't know.
I think people don't buy it.
I think I'll pass!
...I don't know what to think.
Fascinating ~ 'times they are achangin' ~ thanks for info

I first thought she was a teenager in a work-out type of suit. Wow. I hope she's just an experiment. hugs-Erika
Education seems like a good plan - who wants to work as a teacher these days? Teachers are threatened by the pupils here - most do not speak the local language... otherwise... a bit frightening, is she? Well, technology and future... running in.
Hello Nicole! Can this robot clean my home please? do the laundry. lol
Very strange! Contrary to what they said, I thought her movements were very mechanical. And her ....ummmmm.. backside was a bit weird as if she might be a Kardashian.
Didn't know that had been done, but how interesting.
If she were a doll, but she's not. I would feel very wierd
having to converse with her
Much love
This is the future, yes I believe it too.
Moya reflects a fascinating shift toward highly lifelike humanoid robots designed for sustained human interaction
Soon people will have robotic mates!
Someplace between fascinating and creepy.
