Friday Face OFF

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This is the place to show off your face art.
You know, ANY type of face, nature, the face of a flower, photography, drawings, paintings, AI. There just needs to be a face in your blog post, a link back to my blog and please use the image below.
Thank you.
As you know it's been a tough lupus week and art was put to the side.
Again this week older faces. A few years back I had a show for clay. It could be anything clay so I went with dolls and faces.

This is all clay wrapped around twigs, then painted.
A clay face painted then placed on fabric and embellished with beads.
One of my spirit dolls places on a painted canvas.
This one sold right away. Clay face painting with matt pigment.

Of course I had some crazy                 faces.

For some reason people loved these       flat face and sold right away.

Then my good friend Donna wanted a Whizzed. I had so much fun creating this.

 I love his face

There is a lot of embellishment on this doll

Every whizzed needs a skull, a mirror, and a scarab

Donna sent a t-shit with this
moon on it that she wanted incorporated.

I had a lot of spirit dolls at the show

And all different faces of        these

Here are some AI from a contest that is going on over at NightCafe

It's time for some features.

Heidrum she has a lovely blog.
The best street photos
Reminders. FFO Challenge.
Create a face that is one or all of these expressions.
Happy, Sad, Tired, Surprised. Showing will be Friday April 24, 2026. You have 9 weeks. Any medium accepted.
Also join in with SITAR. Anything Art.

That's it for me.
Now show me your face.

Wow, I finally managed to be the first to link up today! 😊👍🏻😅
Your art is so special and unique, dear Nicole! I especially love the Whizzed / magician for your friend Donna and all the details you added—and also the yellow spirit doll with the moss(?) hair. She has something of a nature goddess ... that really apeals to me, and the colors too! Your beautiful AI African women also stir something within me and remind me of our two wonderful journeys to Africa.
Hugs and all the best (for your health and everything else!)from here to you,
Traude

J'adore la silhouette sur la première photo, c'est magnifique et émouvant. Les autres aussi sont très belles, mais celle-ci a vraiment ma préférence

I love the clay/twig creation. And I love the face on fabric.
Not at all surprised that the Spirit doll on painted canvas sold. It is very eyecatching.

Fabulous clay faces Nicole. I love the variety of formats. I've made a few clay pieces but never quite knew what to do with them, so thanks for a lot of inspiration. Have a super rest of the month. hugs-Erika

gosh the clay face (matte) is wonderful, it would be terrific hanging in a studio. What a talent you have for faces, and aren't faces so interesting?

Your creativity doesn't know any limits, Nicole. I am so impressed with all the clay faces and dolls you created. You have so many fantastic ideas. I'm not surprised at all that some of these faces sold right away. The idea of wrapping clay around some twigs to create a doll is such a cool one. Thank you for showing us some of your clay dolls and faces. I wish for you that you feel much much better soon.

My faces here are felines with no artistic talent, just a great model. Your faces, however, are real art. Absolutely everything you shared here I love. The dolls are especially beautiful and I love your clay/twig doll, too. Lovely, every one.

I'm SO glad you are feeling much improved. That's the best news.

Imagine me reading your blog this am, my wizard is right where I can see him almost all the time, he stands in front of a mirror so I can see both sides.

I love how each one has its own story and personality, especially the ones that sold immediately; it really shows how art can connect with people.
