Sunday in the Art Room

Welcome to

Above made by me with NightCafe.
Today is Sunday in the Art Room.
As mentioned in previous posts, I'm opening up this day for artists that create in ANY medium to come on by and just talk art. Write a post about what's on your mind in the art world. It's a place to ask questions on your blog where other's can hopefully answer. Or share your videos, your techniques, tools or even what type of camera you use. So, you say you can't draw but you can write.... that's art baby! AI creations are welcome as well. Since this type of art is taking off to main stream. Let's say you think you are in no way artsy. But you love art. Show murals, historical, art, your friends or kids art and talk about it.
I would like this to be an all inclusive way for artist to share, whatever.
My only rule? Criticism with kindness.
If someone asks to have their art critiqued it must be done with the generosity and consideration.
This is a place of encouragement and inspiration.
Last week I mentioned showing off your art space. Since my art room has become a place to store yard sale items. I don't work in there very often anymore. I have set up a drawing area in my TV room.
As I walk.
On the opposite wall. I have cleaned out a lot of art supplies that will be in the yard sale. Mr. M. made these selves for me when we first moved in here.

Yeah, I kinda hoard brushes.
I now draw here.

Here is what I'm working on right now. Just getting started.
That's it for me.
Now, it's time to show yours!

I love seeing your art room Nicole. You have a super space, and you even have room to add some inspiration. Maybe I'll share my little bits of inspiration next week. Those brushes made me happy. I love paint brushes too, even though I probably use the same 5. :) Have a great art day. I want to get into mine today for awhile too. hugs-Erika

What a great space. I work in the end of my rather large bedroom. You can never have too many brushes, or to many paints.

Lovely to see your art room and a great start on the portrait!

Now THAT'S the art space of a longtime working artist and crafter! Great to see where you create!

That's a lot of supplies, more than I had when I was exhibiting full-bore!

Bom domingo minha querida amiga Nicole. Seu ateliê é muito bonito. Infelizmente não tenho um ateliê como o seu, não tenho o seu dom para pintura. Só para tirar umas simples fotos do celular. Grande abraço do seu amigo brasileiro.

Wow, so much space! I love so many things I see there! I have a lot of space in my double garage attic with lots of windows. It begs for the name of “studio”, but it’s not heated so I’m stuck in a corner of a tiny spare bedroom until spring.
If you see my blog you might know I’m taking a watercolor painting class. I’m experimenting right now with trying to produce images of subjects that are not detailed, but rather present a suggestion of objects. It’s a much looser style I enjoy.I just posted my latest and I don’t think I’m achieving what I’m after. If anyone has any suggestions for how to do that, please reply. Thanks!

I enjoy seeing the art space of other artists. Yours looks well organized; I especially like how you store your tubes of paint. Those brushes - yes, a lot, and I love the containers you put them into. Your space is really interesting. Thank you for showing us.
