Hi Everyone!
I have a lot of mugs or cups. However, I'm ready to throw most of them out. It seems that none of them hold their heat. So, I'm in search of a good mug.
In my search I about fell out of my chair with the prices. OMG!
I think the smart mugs are all the in thing to keep your drink warm. If I want to come in to this century.
Oh and this one is $100.00
No Flippen Way!
I would just like a pretty,
yes I said pretty :) everyday mug that I don't have to put in the mircor to reheat my coffee.
I kind of like this hand warmer mug. But when I looked at it there was no description of how good it holds heat. What type of mug do you use?
Do any of you have a suggestion?
I'm off to the mircor to heat my coffee uhhhgggg.
Have a good day today

My only suggestions are: (1) drink out of a small mug or (2) drink faster! or (3) learn to enjoy the taste of cold coffee. I don't know if any regular mug holds heat better than another.
thanks! https://sintrabloguecintia.blogspot.com/
A few years ago I bought a coffee mug by thermos it holds the heat for many hours found it on amazon it's a little bit on sale now THERMOS Stainless King Vacuum-Insulated Travel Mug with Handle - 16oz, Matte Steel - Thermos Tumbler for Hot & Cold Drinks -
What a fun post dear friend Nichole 🥰👍
O yes I am after the fine mug every time I enter in the market and hubby is like “really? You already have filled all cabinet with variety of mugs” 😂
Thank you by the way for introducing such modern mugs ,first I will have to check if their system to keep tea is harmless for health.sometimes doctors say things that shock you .
I liked the black simple one here 👌♥️
...$44???????
I feel your pain, Nicole! There is nothing worse than that first sip of lukewarm coffee. Those smart mug prices are absolutely wild. I’m with you, $100 for a cup is just "no flippen way" territory! I actually just shared a new post with some lifestyle finds that might be right up your alley. Come take a look!

I like a regular mug with lots of memories ~ enough with high tech already ~ lol
hugs
I have an insulated mug that works well. I have a few tumblers for the Summer too that work well for cold drinks. Most any insulated mugs with tops will work.
I use a stainless steel mug that holds the heat for hours and is good for ice cold beverages in the summer. Bought it in the 90s and love it.
I just use what I would call an ordinary mug (bought from a local garden centre) to enjoy my cups of tea in ... I like sitting quietly sipping and relaxing :)
All the best Jan
I don't drink coffee or tea that often, so I usually buy mugs for the way they look not so much for keeping my beverage warm. I like a pretty mug to look at and relax with .
Yeti tumblers. Have used for years now. Love them for cold or hot drinks. But you said you didn't want a thermal cup.
I can barely count the number of mugs we have in the house, but we use the same two every day. They are probably not the most efficient but I drink my coffee so quickly it probably hardly matters, and Miriam lingers over hers until it’s verging on cold anyway. I don’t think we’ll be investing in a new one any time soon.,
For years, working in an office, I had a mug warmer. You just plug it in, turn it on and sit the coffee mug on it. I am pretty sure they are still available.
I just use a regular mug mug 🤓. But I have two cups in the morning rather than one bigger mug, so I don’t have to worry much about heat loss, especially with the first cup. Sometimes, a bit of the second cup gets too cold but not a lot and not too often.
I love creative artists (like you in many different media) and regularly go to the sale of the local Potters’ Guild where a wide choice of hand thrown mugs and all other types of pottery can be found. I guess you wouldn’t be happy with them since they aren’t meant to keep t he beverage warm.
Terry and I love the Yeti cups we got as gifts. They keep hot things hot and cold things cold. They come with a cover and a magnetic, slidable lid that goes over the drinking opening. Good luck in your mug hunt, Nicole!
