Friday Face OFF 12/12/25

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This is the place to show off your face art.
You know, ANY type of face, nature, the face of a flower, Photography, drawings, paintings. There just needs to be a face in your blog post.

Too much going on in my life. I lost the list of self portraits that didn't make the feature last week. If that is you lease contact me.

I have been deep in art. Can't stop, takes my mind away from everyday stuff.
This is a graphite piece just from my brain. Then, I add a colorful background with pastels.
The first photo I could take while drawing.

Then I got the ears done.
Then I finished with this.
When I was done with this Mr. M. told me that it looks like my sister. She has been in my dreams lately.

Here are a few AI

Time for features from last week.
In fact here is his self Portrait.

a portrait of her granddaughter.

Mia
Awhile back I mentioned that I am keeping track of who gets featured. I do use the number generator and I started a spread sheet. So everyone will be featured.
Yeah I like spread sheets.
Also
The new challenge is to create a portrait of anyone you want. It can be your family, friends, actors, faces you find on the internet, or a perfect stranger that will allow you a photo to work from and to show with your portrait. You can work in any medium, except photography and you have until Friday January 30, 2026.  Make it fun and let's see what you come up with.

That's it for me. Now its time to show me your face.
Nicole

I love your graphite piece. I have drawn a number of faces "from my head" but they are not great sketches like yours today is.

I admire your drawings. Good job.. I have not attempted to draw since I was in high school in an art class. I should give it a try.

Your sister must be wanting you to know she's there for you, being in your dreams and in your drawing too. The portrait came out great. and just to let you know I was one of last week's portraits. But don't feel you need to post it. I'm OK just mentioning it to you.I hope you have a super weekend ahead Nicole. hugs-Erika

When you say, “just from my brain,” are you not working form a reference image at all?

Dear Nicole,
Wow, the portrait you may have unconsciously created of your sister turned out beautifully!
Your AI creations are also impressive—the first one speaks to me the most!
Hugs, my dear!
💛🧡💛🧡
All the best and have a wonderful (not too stressful!!!) time until Christmas 🕯️✨❣️, Traude

I'm so glad to hear that you've been deep in art, Nicole. I love the portrait you drew. Her eyes really pull me in. I enjoyed the features you shared. Gillena's granddaughter is beautiful, and Violetta's smile is lovely. Arnoldo and Mia created great collages. There are so many talented people who visit your blog! How's it going with those atmospheric rivers? I've been worried that you might be experiencing flooding, gloomy wet days at the very least. I hope that you and Mr. M. are staying dry. Take care!
