This is the place to show off your face art.
You
know, ANY type of face, nature, the face of a flower, Photography,
drawings, paintings. There just needs to be a face in your blog post.
Have you ever created a self portrait? I haven't but I'm going to. I would like you to think about this because I'm going to have a challenge on self portraits. I will be announcing all the details in the next months.
So, why not start now? It can be any type of art EXCEPT photographs. With that said a photo of you must be present so we can see, it's really you. 😁
I will tell you that this is going to be very difficult for me. I am NOT photogenic AT ALL! I stay away from the camera. However, I think this might be fun.
Now for FFO
I have to figure out some sort of lighting in my house to take photos of my drawings.
She started like this.
This woman has the flattest lips and mouth that I have ever seen.
As if her lips were just stuck on her face. 
Then she looked like this and I was starting to love how soft the shading is.
I finally ended her like this.
I wish I had the same lighting as the photo above. Because in real life here skin appears to be very soft. Also she has white hair.

I've never attempted a self-portrait except in cartoon form. This will be a challenge! I will need to put my thinking cap on and find an appropriate photo to work from . . . .Glad you gave us a heads up about this challenge!

A self-portrait? I get weird when a cam is pointed at me, so... nah... other you want a horror-face, LOL!
But I have to admit, I´m interested in your challenge! So I don´t say no per se.

Bleubeard is the face of our blog, so I won't even begin to try to draw him. Sounds like a fun challenge for those who draw, though.

I have once done a self portrait, but it was more of a cartoon look. I agree with Debra. This will definitely get me thinking. Your latest face is lovely. I always like watching how it progresses and takes on a personality between the first and last. I hope your week is going well. hugs-Erika

I have done self portraits in at least 2 mediums. Perhaps I will add an AI version done using my settings for my "Mondrian style" images.

I had to do a self-portrait using a mirror for an art class in college once. Had never done, not easy, and not something I was comfortable with--lol!

I think the idea of a self-portrait challenge is excellent, even if you find it difficult. It forces you to look at yourself in a new, creative way, and that can be very rewarding. I'm excited to see the details when you announce them.
