Friday Face OFF 10/3/25

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This is the place to show off your face art.
You know, ANY type of face, nature, the face of a flower, Photography, drawings, paintings. There just need to be a face in your blog post.

Thank you everyone for all of the well wishes for my medical procedure yesterday. Unfortunately, it didn't work out for me. Sooooo, I will be seeing some specialists by the first of next year. Just know I'm OK.
Except I can't sleep. It's the prednisone.
I've been up since 3AM and
it's about 6AM now

Now for Friday Face OFF. I mentioned previously that I found several photos of women with very short or no hair at all. The drawing this week is of a girl that caught my eye. Ha, ha, ha, get it? Oh I'm so funny with no sleep. 😁

She started like this. A quick sketch.
I got something on my paper that would erase. I put in a necklace to try and cover it.
And she finally turned out like this. But it is so stormy and overcast I couldn't get a good photo.

It has been storming something wicked here. So here are my AI monsters for today.
I have a complete series of these. You can check them out on my Night Cafe gallery
While you are there join in.
It's free.
Monsters in the storm.

It's the art of it with all of the details.

Yeahhhh, monsters don't like bad weather either.

Cloud creatures?

And now for something pretty. Ohhh, I just noticed she has lupus rash on her cheeks.  OK, I need to go lay down and see if I can get some sleep. LOL
Time for some features.

Not Afraid of Color
Leeanna always has a lot of great art going on from quilting to drawing.
Gellena has the best site with art, food and music. Plus she hosts art for fun Friday. So be sure to stop by.
Kwarkito always shares the best art and some very compelling pieces on the world. Please check this blog out.

This is my handsome son and beautiful DIL
In Italy last year.

Well that's it for me.
Now it's your turn to show me your face.

Your short hair girl is exquisite! I like her - I remember that you once said you can't draw hair, but this looks so good! And your stormy AI work is fantastic as well.
I'm sorry that the procedure yesterday didn't work our for you. It's a long time until you can see the specialist. I hope you will be able to sleep better. All the best - Carola

You do well when sleep-deprived.

I really like your drawing of the girl with the cropped hair. She looks like she is ready for some mischief.

Sorry to hear that the medical procedure didn't go well for you.

So sorry the procedure did not work for you. Lovely portrait and fun AI.

Oh, Nicole, so sorry you´re still not well! Hope you find a "cure" very soon.
"A quick sketch"? That´d take me forever! And the end-result: WOW. Hehe, so monsters prefer the sun at the beach?
Fun AI art! Have a hopefully not-too-tired day and ...best wishes ...hugs.

Not the medical verdict we wanted to hear. With luck your problems sleeping will sort themselves out.

That's a fantastic face drawing. She is really lovely. And I'd hate to come across that cloud creature any day. Grin. Your son and daughter-in-law look like they are having fun on their adventure. Have a super weekend. hugs-Erika

Boa sexta-feira e com muita paz e saúde, minha querida amiga Nicole. Prefiro os desenhos tradicionais. Fico feliz em saber que tudo vai bem, com seu filho e sua nora na Itália. Grande abraço carioca.

Nicole I am so sorry you are having trouble sleeping and for your procedure. Sending you positivity and prayers your way. I truly hope and pray things turn out for you. I adore your drawing. Short hair is so cool. After my chemo four years ago I had short hair and LOVED short hair. Easy to take care of and super cute too. Love your artwork and the digital on is so cool with the colours. So beautiful. The picture of your son and daughter in law is super cute. Have a happy Friday and a lovely weekend. Happy October! :)

I'm well past my bedtime because we drove to southwestern VA to visit my Mom today and had a nice time. Anywho, I'm sorry to read your procedure didn't go as hoped and I hope whatever the problem is will be resolved before long. Medical woes aren't fun and seem to come at a not so convention time.

Your face turned out nice. I don't have a FFO post this week but yesterday's TAD drawing works perfectly. I'll be sure to link it up and I'll try to make a few rounds visiting folks this weekend at some point. ;)

I love the short hair on that lady. She is beautiful. Those stormy images are a bit spooky and just perfect for this month.

I am saddened to read the procedure didn't work. You are definitely in my thoughts.
