I'm excited to show off my face this week. It starts like this. An AI image of one of our blogging friends. Gene Black
He made the AI image and I asked to draw it. He said yes.
Getting it sketched out. 
I'm left handed an always seem to work from left to right. I'm pretty happy with his ear and the rest of the sketch.
Since there is so much black I thought I better move up to the top and work down this time. 
The photo doesn't show just how dark the hat really is.
Who knows why. LOL

Wow, you did an amazing job turning that into a drawing. It is different but retains a LOT from the original. I really love the texture you managed to get on the hat and the suit coat. It seems as if I could feel the fabric.

The moment I saw that first image, without even reading the teext, I thought "this is Gene". And wow, Nicole, I think your drawing is excellent. I would be surprised if Gene isn't happy with it. Such an amazing work.
