FFO 8/22

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This is the place to show off your face art.

It's been a crazy week. Lot's going on medically and the bills are pilling up. My perspective on this is, there is nothing I can do about it. Worrying will only make me upset and more ill. So the bills will get paid as I can. I'm sure some of you know how that is. So, how do I relax and forget about it? I draw.
This week I used one of my AI images as my muse. For me I really like the softness of her face. It starts like this.

And finally
I used, graphite, charcoal, paint brush pen for the eyes and colored pencil for the lips.
I also worked on some monster AI art too. Come on, there is already Halloween items in the stores. LOL

I think she is quite beautiful.

I would love to make this in my monster art room

I do have the materials to make him.

And so for my readers who don't like dark art and I don't want you to have nightmares. Here is something pretty that I created.

Now for some amazing features.
First we have Cloudia. Need inspiration? Head over to her blog.

Next is Arnoldo. I met Arnoldo may years ago blogging. I love track of him and now he is back and is now an Episcopal Priest as well as an artist.
Last but certainly not least
is the beautiful Melody Jacobs
She presents some wonderful blog posts, and is where I learned about
smashed cucumber salad. LOL

You know what's next.
It's your turn to show me your face.
Nicole

Your woman's face turned out terrific! You are getting SO good at hair! I love the highlights and how it sweeps back and up away from her face

I love to see how the shading changes the face in your drawing. It's really interesting and I enjoyed seeing how the drawing developed.

I am always amazed at how your works progress. I see the push and pull as you add and lift to get it just right.

Good morning, Nicole! I hope things went well at the dentist. I was getting ready for my cataract surgery when you stopped by before your appointment. I'm 2-days post-op and am doing well. My vision is good but things haven't settled down yet.

I don't have a FFO post this week but do have one scheduled next time, though. I love how you shared the progression of your portrait. This is just fabulous! I hope I can shade as well as you. Her hair is so pretty with the highlights in the right places. Nice job!

Have a doodletastic weekend, m' dear! xo

That face really is wonderful, and she looks a bit worried. Perhaps she (like most of us) has bills too. He hair even looks glossy the way you drew it. I love it. I hope you have a super weekend ahead and maybe relax a bit too :) hugs-Erika

...in the richest country of the world, health care shouldn't be a worry. Vote the GOP out in the midterms! Nicole, be well.

Wow, I love that. Your drawing is so nice. I cannot draw stick figures so nothing like this is coming from my hands.

Good morning Nicole!!
Your portrait is perfect and so are the images from artificial intelligence.
I understand you so much, when there are health problems, usually finances are not going well, try to put them on a schedule so they don't get you down.
What can I say, I'm trying to be calm, whether with blogging or with artistic things. I hope everything goes well!!

So sorry to hear that you're ill and that your medical bills are pilling up. I will add you to my prayers, Nicole. Art can be a blessed meditative tool, so thank you for sharing your work. I can struggle with hair sometimes, but you did an amazing job with it in your portrait. It looks very lively. Thanks for featuring my Mickey card. Happy FFO, and Shalom!
