Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)
This
is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face
from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that
face in the design of the
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien,
or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!
Before I get started with FFO, Blogger has been dropping people from my blog list. If you find that your are not on my side bar please let me know, thanks.
I'm so happy that I am drawing again. It feels like my place of peace and joy.
This week I have a graphite portrait. Oh what else. LOL I wish the sketchy part was a bit darker but you get the idea of how she was started. She ended up like this. I really like this face. One day I will learn to draw hair. Oh I crack myself up.
I joined NightCafe AI art site last year but no time to really get into it. I do now and I'm having so much fun there. If you want to join in it's free and you can use this referral link
Here are some faces I created this week.

I LOVE the lady you drew today. I love the eyes and the mouth a lot. You draw so very well.
You create amazing AI faces. They are so unique. You have a real knack for it.
Did you see my comment on plant identification?
Yes, a lovely face indeed on your graphite woman!
ReplyDeleteThose graphite lips are especially wonderful! Well, the whole face is!
ReplyDeleteAs the AI-ones... I really must try to find time for this but the studies eat me up atm. Haha, say since February... Lame excuse. I am not creative enough!!!
Bleubeard and I are grateful you linked us. STILL love that face you drew.
ReplyDeleteLovely portrait and fun AI! Blogger is acting up again? I should check.
ReplyDeleteYour graphite portrait is wonderful! I could never draw lips like you do, they are exquisite. I'm so glad you're drawing again! Have a lovely weekend, Nicole.
ReplyDeleteI'll send you a proper comment later! 😘
ReplyDeletethank you very much!
ReplyDeleteI have still not dabbled in AI. I doubt that I will.
ReplyDelete...Nicole, keep drawing and be well. I only draw flies!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy playing with AI creations, but I don’t have the same knack for it that you seem to have.
ReplyDeleteYour latest face is fabulous. She is really beautiful. You are wonderful getting the subtle shading down; it's just perfect! Have a wonderful weekend. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteYou draw so well and glad it gives you joy ~ hugs,

Thank you for the feature spot, Nicole. I feel honored amongst your talented artsy circle.I'm joining the community today and will do my best to make rounds. Your portraits are always so amazingly realistic. I would love to be at this stage. It's a struggle to get the right proportions of facial features but I do think I'm getting better. I continue with trying for a realistic look. I'm moving the right direction but the shading doesn't come naturally. I think that would help to achieve a more life-like character. All things in good time, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteAI is interesting to look at but I'm not ready to do anything with it. Maybe one day. I'm glad you're enjoying it.
Thanks for hosting the fun. Have a doodletastic weekend!
Your drawings are so very beautiful and wonderfully done.
ReplyDeleteWow that drawing is gorgeous. I don't like the AI ones with the holes though. Triggers my trypohpobia.

Sooooo, maybe switch to just doing portraits of men and women who have chosen to shave head hair. LOL. Seriously, continue practicing hair, it will come as does all things. Current drawing is great.
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole! I've been on NightCafe for a while (7500+ creations). I'm following you.
ReplyDeleteNice drawings dear Nicole, I am back from my trip to the Swabian Alb...and I am on your list. Have a good time and all the best

Dear Nicole,
ReplyDeleteyour AI creations look absolutely fantastic! 🤩 But I’m even more fascinated by the beautiful face you drew by hand – especially those wonderfully sensual lips, wow! 🎨💋
As for your question about the blog list – I’m not sure if I was ever on it, but I couldn’t find my blog there now. (Maybe I just overlooked something?) Blogger does act up from time to time, unfortunately… 🤷♀️
Sending love and hugs from Austria! 💕

I so much prefer your drawings to the AI, even if they are interesting in their own way. Yours have life and depth to them. :)
ReplyDeleteI like how you give the face a nice greying complexion in your sketch. AI faces are trippy
ReplyDeleteMy computer is so old I have no idea how to do AI but your work is amazing. Also your sketch is beyond great and always love the ones that are selected by other artists.
ReplyDeleteMe gusta mucho las caras que has compartido. Muy creativas. Espero que te gusten las mÃas. Un abrazo

También sigo tu blog, por si no te habÃas dado cuenta. El mÃo es Bitácora literaria. Gracias. Besitos

ReplyDeleteYou really use AI in a creative way! It is interesting that you discard many of the images that you try for, and thus you are using HI (Human Intelligence) quite a lot along with AI.
ReplyDeletebest, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Your drawings are good.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the AI creations.
All the best Jan
Oh those faces are so cool.
