Hi Everyone!
Yesterday, I forgot to show the radishes I harvested from my garden. It was in my title.
Here are the radishes and more garden.
We got a bit of rain and look how much the squash has grown in just a few days.
The far back garden has gone from this
To this in a few days time. I took a chance on the sweet potatoes. It's still a big cold at night but I cover them and so far so good.
3 grow bags of S.P. and one of cantaloupe.
I really do love watching my garden grow.
In my front yard I have 2 Rhododendrons. It is the flower of Florence. The red one is amazing.
Last but not least. Our local store had butter on sale so I stocked up. Some went into the freezer and some I made a batch of ghee.
Well, that's it for now. Time for eye drops and resting my eyes.
Be well my friends.
Nicole
...your vegetables feed the stomach and the rhododendron feeds the soul.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I like radishes but for some reason we seem to hardly ever buy them. I have to pick up ingredients for a salad today so I’ll be sure to add radishes to the shopping list.
ReplyDeleteOMG that loaded rhododendron bush! And yes, LOL, I wondered yesterday what the radish tie-in was?
ReplyDeleteThe radishes look lovely. I have always liked them. Did you know you can use then with a roast instead of potatoes? I also love them fried.
DeleteThat rhododendron is amazing.
Congrats on such beautiful radishes you harvested from your garden! Those red vegetables in Italy are not as big as yours. I also like to put radishes in a salad :-)
ReplyDeleteThe two Rhododendros make your front yard lovely.
Enjoy your garden, Nicole!
The garden is coming along so well! You are a hard worker.
ReplyDeleteYour garden is gong well. I just love radishes!
ReplyDeleteI have never been a fan of radishes. They are too bitter to suite me. The rhododendron is beautiful. I don't think I've seen any red blooms before. What's our area are the purplish pink which are gorgeous when in bloom. A few neighbors have them and they are showing off but I imagine the higher elevations in the mountains where they are most common haven't started to bloom yet, but it won't be long. Have an enjoyable summer, Nicole! xo
ReplyDeleteYour garden looks great. I really like growing things in those big garden bags. Especially since my area is so rocky. And boy the rhododendron is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYour rhodie looks great. We visited an amazing rhododendron and peony garden this weekend, with a huge variety of colors from reds to pinks, yellow, orange, and white. I don’t know anything about growing vegetables so I’m impressed by how early you have radishes.
