Wednesday Post

 Hi Everyone!

Yesterday was our day to drive to Salem. Ya know that long drive to see a doctor for Mr. M. On the way out of town we saw the prettiest ski.

and then as the hour passed we hit thick fog.  For many miles viability was terrible until we came onto I-5.

On the way home we get gas at a small station that is easy to access and pretty cheap if we use cash. Well cheap for our area. Across a small road is an old AW root beer place that has been turned into a restaurant called Tin Sing. We always noticed how packed the parking lot was and last month decided to try it. OMG!!!!!! The best food ever with great prices and fabulous service. The cook is amazing. If you are ever in Junction City, Oregon you have to eat here. The shrimp is our favorite. Cooked to perfection.

The best egg flower soup that comes with your meal. You have the choice of this or hot sour soup and of course tea.

I forget to take photos while at the restaurant. I found this on their website and I swear the food is served like this. It is so appealing and tastes excellent.

We had this the first time we ate there. The Shrimp was so good that yesterday we got shrimp and chips. I couldn't find a photo of it. More food than we should have eaten. We were both stuffed. Next time we will share a plate. So nice to find a place to eat that has good food and service.
Do you have a favorite place to eat?
Have a great day today.
Nicole

  2. Now that is some excellent fog. Not good at all for driving, but thick as pea soup, as they say. Wonderful find with the new-to-you restaurant. Looks delicious! No wonder it is so busy. I'm sure you'll try and pop in often. Something to look forward to on those trips. ;)

  11. Great to find a new and good restaurant. Also great that you are doing normal things, not restrained so much by your health issues. I hope you both continue to be well and keep improving.

  13. A Sky like that always makes me want to rush to the paints and create.
I think I would enjoy that restaurant. I have never had egg flower soup, but I love hot and sour soup. (and anything with shrimp.)
Lately I have been craving Kung Pao Shrimp.
