Friday Face OFF 10/3/24

Welcome To Friday Face OFF (FFO)

This is the place to show off your faces or your face. Post any type of face from any medium. You can create it, or find it in nature, or even that face in the design of you
woodwork in your house.
Human, animal, alien, or monster.
ANY KIND OF FACE!

Well it has been a week. Getting into a routine, Mr. M. learning to transfer from chair to wheelchair, and me taking care of everything. It's not that much more. Mr. M. is doing quite well. We saw the foot doc today. OMG! the ex rays are impressive. There are 3 plates and too many pins to count. There are staples up both sides of Mr. M's leg. Two of the breaks went back together very well. The outside ankle didn't and if Mr. M. cant tolerate it he will have to have another surgery in about 3 months. If he can tolerate it, in a year or so he will have to have an ankle replacement or a fusion. He won't be able to flex his foot with the fusion. Home health for PT came in today too. On the 10th Mr. M. goes in for cancer surgery to remove his kidney and uterer. The foot doc spoke to the kidney doc about the foot and ankle and the nurses at the hospital will remove the staples after kidney surgery. It's just a mess.
Please continue to pray, spell, wish, reiki, or send angles for us.
On a happy note, Mr. M. and I have been together 43 years on Oct 1. I guess I will keep him. LOL

Now for FFO.
I did get a drawing done.
I like her face.

I did some very fast AI too.

I'm glad that Mr M is doing quite well as you write, but it seems there is a lot going on. I hope everything will work out fine with his cancer surgery - I'm sending positive thougths up the coast. You sure have a lot on your hands right now. 43 years - that is a long time. Congratulations. You chose well!

I really like the AI of the little girl with the red glow and balloon.
Hopes, prayers, healing energy and love to both of you.

Oh, Nicole.... what a happy-sad-scary-forward-looking post!!
You two are in my heart and good vibes are on the way. "LOL" - I always think the same: "I´ll keep him, despite it all".... Happy belated anniversary!
The child´s face reflects your feelings, I think...
I wish you two many, many more GOOD years.

Best of luck through this whole ordeal. It sounds physically and emotionally draining.

Dear Nicole, here I am now with a longer comment ;-)
I think you are managing your complicated everyday life well, and Mr. M probably doesn't want to do without you after 43 years. My congrats to the both of you!
I like your drawing - is the defiant-looking girl a part of your soul that defies all the problems?
Your AI style is also great again.
Sorry for adding a linking mess to your mess about medical procedures: I noticed that my previous post wasn't linked yet, so I wanted to add it under the title "Traude Rostrose" as the first one. Then I took my current post as "Traude Rostrose #2". Then I noticed that "Traude Rostrose" wasn't working and wanted to delete it, but that didn't work either. (I don't know if YOU can delete it... If so, feel free to do so.) So I have now inserted the link to the previous post again (correctly) and the title is now "Traude Rostrose #1"...
I am still with you with my good wishes and thoughts!
All the best, hugs and pleasant October days,
Traude

I like today's face too Nicole. It might be reflecting how you often feel with all these medical issues. I am glad that they can still do the kidney surgery. I hope all goes well. And it sounds like a long road with the your husband's foot, but at least it sounds like they can fix it one way or another. I'm sending good energy your way. Hugs-Erika

Good morning Nicole. Wow, great AI work. But I love your portrait of the little girl. I believe she shares your face from these crazy days. Happy to see Curly Bill Brodius from Tombstone won the draw today.

Sounds like things have settled down a bit at least. I hope all goes well with the surgery. Love the grumpy face. :)

Congratulations on your 43rd wedding anniversary, Nicole! May you and your husband have many more happy years together! I'm glad to hear that Mr M is managing. Learning to transfer to and from a wheelchair is not easy. I will continue to keep you in my heart and prayers, particularly on the 10th. ❤️

Nicole, I'm glad that things are improving, even though it's been difficult!
We're praying for you, I hope everything goes well!
I think blogging (at least for me) is helpful when I have time to write!
I hope everything continues to go well and that you have the support of the doctors and nurses!

Oh good grief, what turmoil Mr. M is going through! I've been away from Blogosphere because we were on vacation and I just read of his broken. WOW a shattered ankle sounds just awful! On the positive, I'm glad his surgery went well and that he's set for his cancer related procedure. We have him and you in our prayers, darlin'! XO
