T Stands for cutting down the tree

 Hi Everyone!

Today I am linking up with
When I look out my kitchen window there is a huge, beautiful tree. Last year I noticed that it didn't look very good. This year it looked even worse. I mentioned it to my land lord and the next thing I knew the tree was being cut down.
My yard looks naked now. No, my neighbor doesn't mow his lawn. I won't say more.

 The tree got stuck.

 A little more cutting

Then he loaded it on a his trailer and the tree was gone.
This is lupus awareness month.

I am a lupus

Now it's time to share a drink so I can get into the party.
How about some late art?
This is too pretty to drink.

Have a great day today.

Nicole

Losing a beautiful big tree always seems very tragic, even if it was about to fall on your roof. I was just having a conversation about an enormous Copper Beech Tree that everyone in the neighborhood loved, but its owners had to take it down because it was becoming a danger — at least that’s what they said. Maybe they just wanted to have their back yard back as the tree was so spread out that there was no other space.

Again, you are educating me about Lupus.

Sad. I remember when Bro sent me pics of when he had to tear down our family´s cherry-trees cause they were old and broken.
In my childhood - ours - they gave us wonderful fruit, but they needed to go.

Other: To survivors, great ending to your post, have a great day!

When I moved into my house, I had a large sycamore tree in the front. It started dying and I had to have it cut down. Years later the five big pines in the back yard became dangerous because of the high winds that we have in tornado anid hurricane season. So I finally had them removed. Now I have no trees. I alternately miss them and feel glad they are gone.

That was a BIG tree -- no wonder the yard feels bare now that it's gone!

It's hard to lose a tree😢 it'll make a difference in the yard, I know.

It's always sad to see a tree come down, but that one did look like it probably needed to before it fell on something in a bad storm, I suppose. Always hard to see them leave, though. It does feel so blank and naked when all that space isn't taken anymore.
Yes, that coffee looks too beautiful to ever drink--lol! ;)

First, I want to talk to you about lupus. I had NO idea it was Lupus Awareness Month, but I saw a PBS documentary on Seal and his discovering he had it, so it makes sense. Years ago, I was diagnosed with lupus, but all of the symptoms the dr gave me didn't apply to me. However, after readiong all the symptoms, ONE stood out: swollen joints. Now I think lupus may be the cause of all my problems. Thank you for waking me to this disease I knew I had, but no idea of the cause of all this pain I have suddenly developed.

Sorry I didn't join FFO last week. I just didn't feel like sitting for hours at the computer. I am a slow reader and even slower typist.

How sad for the tree, but it is better that it should go than land on your roof. The guy made it look simple and easy.

Loved the AI coffee, dear Nicole. Thanks for sharing your felled tree AND your lupus info with us, as well as the coffee, for T this Tuesday, dear friend.

I left a LONG message, including about lupus, and got a "Whoops." I am too sore to rewrite it again right now, so will be back later to do it again.

How sad that they cut down the tree. Have a good week. Tomorrow I have my yearly check up at the doctor's, so I need to get up early. Hugs!

Thank you for educating me about Lupus. Being a nurse I was aware of it but it was good to be reminded of the symptoms.
How interesting to see the tree being felled. It is a bit of a shame though. Trees take so long to grow to the size they are, so replacing them will only benefit the next generation. As you seem to be renting, you don't even have the advantage of having free fire wood!
Sorry I'm late in commenting. Life gets in the way sometimes,
Happy T-Day,
Lisca

I'm so sorry that the tree had to come down. That always makes me sad.

Many years ago. I watched and took videos of them cutting down a tree in our backyard. It was quite interesting how they did it; sometimes hanging while doing it! I have several friends with Lupis. Interesting enough, they each have a different kind with different symptoms. They have it under control right now with medication. I didn't realize there was a Lupis Awareness Month. Happy T day.
