Before I get started I would like to ask everyone for prayers, spells and goodness sent to Mr. M. He will be in surgery today for his kidneys. Thank you!
As I waited for Mr. M. at his kidney doctor appt the other day. I drew this girl.
I suppose I will be drawing more while Mr. M. is in surgery.
This is the last day I will be sharing lupus awareness too. I hope that you have learned a bit about what people with lupus go through.
Thanks for learning about lupus.
Now for the features this week.

Prayers for hubby. Beautiful girl. -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com
We have been praying for him and you. I like the face you drew while waiting. Thanks for having us all in today! Here's to an even better tomorrow for all of us aloha
The portrait is done with wonderful vibe. These memes are better than the text book descriptions
Sending good vibes to you two - fingers and toes crossed all will turn out great. You have to think positive is what my Mom used to say when I had my "big OP", I did and all went fine.
Thinking of you and looking forward to see the girl completed.
Best wishes, Nicole, stay strong.... and thank you for teaching about Lupus, too.
Have a Friday as smiling as can be...
I've learned so much about this disease I was diagnosed with a few years ago by reading your blog. It all makes sense now why my joints are swollen and why what used to be a nearly perfect memory now is foggy at best. Thanks for enlightening me.
I hold Mr. M. in my thoughts and hope the surgery was successful.
That's a nice face, although I thought the lips were a bit thick. Congrats to all the winners, too. And of course, thanks for hosting.
Happy Friday, hugs
That's a beautiful face Nicole!
Praying for peace and strength for you both, and a successful outcome from Mr M's surgery.
Hugs,
Alison xx
Dear Nicole,
of course I'm here to wish Mr. M. lots of luck and keep my fingers crossed for his kidney surgery!!! Please keep us updated on how well he's doing.
The girl you drew is beautiful!
Thank you also for your information on lupus. I already knew a few things, but I didn't realize that lupus could cause such extensive damage!
All the best for your both health and many hugs from Austria, Traude

Hello Nicole,
Your drawing is impressive and well done.
I'm wondering why I cant make link of your blog onto my post??
It's first time this this happens.
I hope your husband is well soon,
and you are well xx
thanks for sharing!
If ai had to come up with a portrait like that I’d be in the waiting room for the rest of my life!
Your drawing of the girl is very appealing. She looks very open and friendly. Her lips show how well you do shading and light. So many people fail to keep a consistent light source in their work.
I hope Mr. M's surgery goes well. And I hope it is something "simple" like kidney stones and not anything extremely serious. (Even though any surgery is not really simple, is it?) I'll send some good energy your way. And thanks for the lupus info too. There's too many scary diseases out there, isn't there? Happy FRiday and happy start to June.
...Nicole, thanks for featuring my little cutie!
I hope the best for Mr. M dear Nicole. And yes, you showed us a lot of what people have to to through with lupus.
And a nice drawing.
Have a good time
Violetta
Prayers for Mr. M!
Lovely face. :)
Best wishes to Mr M -- I hope his surgery goes well and that his recovery is swift.
the drawing is perfecto... she's so lovely. Do you ever do actual real life portraits for people? Just sent out my bit of energy and prayers that the Kidney treatment will be what's needed... and for strength to heal. LeeAnna
I trust the surgery goes well. It's always scary, I know, but you're getting so much good energy!❤️
Boa tarde de sexta-feira. Aproveito para desejar um bom final de semana e um ótimo mês de junho.

Best wishes to Mr M
I hope everything has gone well for your hubby, Nicole. I'm saying prayers for his recovery and for you! Love the girl! Hugs to you!
First, my best thoughts are with you & your husband for a good outcome to his surgery today.
Second, I feel that I have much more knowledge of the effects of Lupus on its victims, and I very much appreciate your effective educational posts all this month. I suggest that from now on, you have a once-per-month recap to remind us of one of the Lupus facts.
best, mae
I'm late, so I hope the surgery went well, Nicole. I just have a few smiling faces today. I hope you're smiling, too.
Prayers for you and your hubby! I hope all goes well with the surgery.
A lovely sketch of of the girl. It is a good idea to make people more aware of Lupus. Take care, have a great weekend.
