T Stands for new glasses

 Hi Everyone!

I think I mentioned before that I had eye surgeries several years ago and no longer had to wear glasses. It was so nice. However, now I have a film growing on the back side of my eye that is hindering my sight. I could have surgery to remove it but the doctor says it is not that bad. So, I opted to wait and get glasses again. Ohhhh, I am so happy to be able to see but wearing glasses again actually sucks. LOL Ahhh life at 70 yrs.

This is T-Party day hosted by
I hope you stop by there to see and goodness people are showing.
Here are my last potion bottles.

These are now finished.

I like the way the blood turned out.

All of these will be packed and waiting for the show.

Now for my drink.
I drink a lot of water during the day. Hot is my fave. This has just a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar in it. Great for the immune system.

Well that's it for now. Monday night football will be starting soon.
Enjoy your evening.

Nicole

Very cool art bottles Nicole. I had the catarach surgery around 5 years ago and last year when I went in for my checkup he said I had a film over my eye-that's why my visions was getting blurry. so he was able to remove it in his office-thought that was amazing he could do that. he was the surgeon.
take care hugs and Happy T Kathy

That must be very disturbing to have to work glasses again and I'm sorry you have that issue. Your artwork needs your vision.

I've worn glasses since I was 10 so I can relate. I used to do contacts, which are nice in some ways and just as a big a pain in others. And you've made some great bottles. I love the green grubs. Have a great T day Nicole. hugs-Erika

That has to be so weird to go back to wearing glasses after such a long time. I feel weird without them--lol!

A lot of funny, creepy bottles. Make me smile. :)

Very interesting bottles. As for your hot water, I started drinking hot water years ago, because I don't drink coffee anymore, and sometimes people don't have tea, so hot water works. :) Happy T Day.

Hope you will be fine with wearing new glasses. These bottles are beautiful with creativity. Water with a bit of Apple Cider Vinegar sounds interesting. Thanks for sharing the idea. Happy T-Day!

Good news you jave new glasses
Nice work on the bottles
Apple cider vinegar, I've neen told is good for the digestive system. Reading you have it in hot water, I think I'm going to try that.

I hope you get used to your glasses - or how about contact lenses?
I did this (when I was young, LOL).
RED BLOOD with the cute bat is great! We once accidentially brought in a baby-bat. Ingo brought it back outside and next morning it was gone - hopefully alive and kicking!
Apple Cider Vinegar... right. Plus honey, I should resume that! Happy T-Day!

How many bottles does that make, Nicole? I counted 11 on the table, but I thought there were more from weeks past. Each is so different and I think they are all very cleverly created.

My friend Sally had that surgery, then went in one year and had one of her eyes scraped. She said it was common and she could see much better after the scraping.

So glad you use natural remedies for your ailments. Thanks for sharing your latest bottles and your water with vinegar with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole. Hope your team won, even if I have no idea who was playing.

I have worn glasses for so long I don't even think about it. They are like part of my clothes.

Wish I could go to the show and see these fabulous bottles in person (and meet you as well). You are so talented. The skulls are my favorite. Hot water sounds like such a healthy option - I probably need to try doing it more. Happy Tday and hugz

OH my-those bottles are amazing-I love the owl one especially. I'm glad you can see better-and I know, glasses can be annoying. I have 3 different pair so I can not be so bored wearing them! When I figure out how to copy and paste with my new computer, I really want to join your face Friday group!

I'm glad you now have the glasses and can see. They DO take awhile to get used to but after some time, it's not so bad! Your bottles area really unique -- I like them.

I have worn glasses since my teens and somehow they have never bothered me much. The only thing I don't like about them is when they fog up.
Your bottles are all great. How long does it take to make one of them? I hope it will be a successful show - I can't see why it shouldn't be.

As I've got older I now have reading glasses 😊. Glad you don't need more surgery and I hope you get use to wearing them again. Your makes are fabulous, the bottles are amazing with all the detail you created. Happy T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x

Wow you do some great bottles.
I drink hot water too but I've not tried it with apple cider vinegar.

Cathy Kennedy said...

How are you feeling, Nicole? I hope the doctor found the cause of your problems you described in a recent post.

Your potion bottles are totally creepy. What great Halloween props these will make! You're so talented. :)

I've tried apple cider vinegar in the mornings. That's really hard stuff to drink. Not at all pleasant. lol I know it does a lot of good things for the body, though. I'm sorry you have to go back to wearing glasses again but it's better than not being able to see. I hate that I can't read without mine.

Have a good week, my dear!

I hope you can avoid further surgery, but glasses again is disappointing :(

I drink a lot of water but very rarely hot and I've never added apple cider vinegar.

Sorry to hear that you have to wear glasses again. I wear contacts but so many days I opt for my glasses because they are easy.
Interesting bottles with such variety.
I love ACV in cold water with powdered ginger and a little stevia.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

What a shame about having to wear glasses again! My brother in law has the same problem, years after corrective eye surgery. What a pain.
I love your potions bottles. Are they going to be sold or exhibited? Or both?
Have a great weekend,
hugs,
Lisca

Hi Nicole, sorry to hear about your eyes,is that because of the laser surgery? I looked into it years ago and chickened out, opting for contacts for years and years, but yeah glasses suck, and are so inconvenient at times. I'm making an effort this year to drink more water but I really have to force myself and it has to be warm, I really don't enjoy cold water. I'm very late to the party. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
