Hi Everyone!
I have missed TADD the last two weeks from being out of town. I did leave comments for everyone though. So this weeks theme is, Cups. I was going to dig out some old photos of cups I have made and painted buttttt.... I just didn't have time. Sooo what will I share for today? Ohhhh look what I got from Amazon and the price was so cheap.
I am very pleased with these 1 foot skeletons. The quality is beyond excellent and all parts move. Yay! I am going to have much fun with these.
Please don't get tired of my obsession. I have been creating some macabre art and I can't tell you how much I am loving it. I found some creative instink that makes this type of art so easy for me. Be sure to come by tomorrow to see what I have to show for Friday Face OFF.
Now for some food. These photos have been take over the last many weeks.
Looks like regulart bread right?

It's just got a little something special inside.

The perfect grilled turkey and cheese sandwich.

Sweet rolls hot out of the oven.

Lemon sweet bread hot out of the oven.
|
Hot out of the oven. But what is it?
|
Well it is the good ol' meat buns. Filled with potatoes and other veggies.
|
Sweet n sour pork over rice.
|
The best fried taters.
|
My Son gave me this idea. See below.
|
Get ready I am in lemon mode.

My Son, who cooks with his wife gave me this idea. Cut potatoes in about 1" cubes. Boil them until NOT QUITE DONE. Heat a pan with ghee. Remove the potatoes from the water and pat dry with a paper towel. Add them to the pan with the ghee. Fry these on a medium heat. The outsides will get nice and crips while the insides are creamy. Season with what ever you like.
Rain is putting out new Youtube videos on all of her channels. The newest is bread making. I am telling you she is a natural at this. Her videos are first class and each one has something to offer. Let's give Rain a clap on a great job by subscribing to her channels, liking an leaving a comment. She gives so much, this is a way to give back.
I am off to see what's new with Rain.

Oh, I bet all those skellies will get up to a LOT of mischief! All your cooking and baking looks deelish! Can I invite myself over for supper?
I LOVE the skeletons!
Looking forward to your arty interpretations.
And, boy, you made me hungry! :-)
Ah! I think I can simply take Butterschmalz for ghee and Ingo would be the happiest man in the world! I´ll show him this (he hadn´t had fried potatoes since 2008 when he fell sick and he loves them so much!).
Thank you for sharing, have a great day and see you tomorrow :-)
Oh Nicole you and your skeletons! Yummy food as always. I recently watched Rain's coffee cup video I loved it.
Your food Have a happy day, looks so delicious, I would enjoy sampling it all! Glad you are happy with the skellies!Have a wonderful day, hugs, Valerie
These skeletons are so cute altogether. Very festive as a theme.
Your bakes all look delicious! I make hash browns the same way you describe, though I use regular butter, not ghee.

...the food looks great at your place.
The potatoes in the ghee sound really good. Will definitely give those a try.
I love those skeletons. If I had a place of them, I would probably buy some. ha ha
The potato idea sounds good. I can't eat potatoes but I plan to try it with radishes. They are a surprisingly good sub for potatoes.
The fact that you're involved in skeleton artwork doesn't bore me, Nicole :-) ... I'm curious to see your job.
Love your Sweet rolls!
Enjoy the rest of this week, Nicole!
I knew you would love the skeletons!
You have made me so hungry! Everything looks so delicious I can almost smell them.
Have a great weekend. :)
All your food looks so yummy Nicole. You can't go wrong with grilled cheese and anything. It's great for these chilly fall days. Hugs-Erika
Adore your skeletons!
That bread looks fabulous. And I'd love to try those meat buns. Don't know how they come together but they look delicious!
OH my gosh I LOVE the skeletons!!! You are going to have fun playing with those!!! ☺☺ And Sis...your food. I am so impressed. I have some cinnamon raisin bread on the agenda for December and thanks for the sweet words! ☺ ♥ Great idea for the potatoes! I'm going to try that! I never thought of boiling them first!!
I could never get tired of anything you do. You are a master at what ever tickles your fancy, so I enjoy it all. Your food looks delicious ... homemade Shepherds pie, blew me away. My husband loves Shepherds pie and it never crossed my mind to make it myself, Ha! I think I will have to explore the possibilities. This is Thanksgiving week, so I am rushing through my normal things to do so I have time to cook a turkey, dressing etc., etc. Yes, it still falls on me to do it all and I guess I wouldn't have it any other way, but it is a bit overwhelming at times. Hope your Thanksgiving is wonderful and I know you will be taking pictures in the kitchen this week. Looking forward to it :)
