T Stands for Arting

 Greetings!

Today I am linking up with
Bleubeard and Elizabeth for the weekly Tuesday party.
We didn't do much this weekend. I was absorbed in my art room and Mr. M. in his. Then of course all day Sunday Football. Now, I am not a sports person. I mean watching it. However, this year I decided to watch more football with Mr. M. Some of it is very boring to me. But some of the amzing plays, I see why people get excited. Then, there is Patrick Mahomes and who can NOT like that little cutie, plus he is a great quarterback. :)
I played with molds this weekend and am happy with these.
I am also working on some NON skull art pieces and will show them when I am finished.
Purging again. I rally don't know how we as human collect so much stuff. One of the items I found is this wax melter batik pen. I have only used this once, and that was to test it. It is a very nice tool I just never had use for it. So I am selling it for $25.00. They are running around $50.00 these days.

Hmm... this feels like a boring post so I will close with my drink. I made fresh lemon aid but forgot to take a photo so here are some substiutes.

A quiet weekend doesn't mean it's boring. I could have used some art time, but I don't usually get it when my hubby is home. And I like to watch football with my husband. It's a good time for me to knit or draw when the plays get boring-smile. I hope you have a happy T day and week ahead. hugs-Erika

The molds look good, I wonder what you will be making with them. You're right, it's quite astonishing what we collect. Every now and then I put together "free" boxes and just put them outside in our driveway. Usually the stuff gets taken rather quickly. Have a good week, Nicole, and happy T day!

Art and Footy with the Hubby does not sound boring at all :-)
Interesting pen, too, and I agree, I have way too much stuff already, too...

That waxmelter batik pen is useful to produce a controlled line. I've seen its price is more than $ 50.
Looking forward to waching your non skull art work, Nicole!

When I was young I enjoyed playing sports - and I was good enough to play for my high school soccer team - but I have never much enjoyed watching it, and so never do. That is especially true of NFL games where it takes two and a half hours to play sixty minutes of football and twenty minutes to play the last two!

Your posts are never boring! Fun tools, skulls, football, and lemonade - a fun and eclectic mix. Love the skulls - can't wait to see what you do with them, Nicole. Happy T-day and hugz

Nice skull mold. Too bad I am not making any beeswax canvases. That looks like an interesting tool. And I DO love tools. I'm a huge basketball fan, but stopped caring about football years ago. Mahomes has me loving the game again.

Lemonade sounds great, but it's frigid here, so I will dream of it being warmer so I can make a big pitcher. Thanks fr sharing your art and your wax tool, as well as your lemonade with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

I wish I had a big-GIANT studio, where I could do more fun stuff - I would get that batik pen. As it is, I barely have room (or time) to dye fabrics.

I love homemade lemonaid any time of the year-gest skulls, I often thought of trying to do a batik that tool would be perfect-but I have told myself I must stop picking up art and craft tools-smiles-well I did just buy myself a new ink pen and I love it.
I am so enjoying watchin Mahomes too Happy T

My husband has a couple of American Football teams he follows, and I watch with him. Right now, though, it's all about the World Cup for me :)

I only drink lemonade in the summertime, which is odd since I drink hot drinks year round. Happy T Tuesday!

When I was young I had a go at batikking and used one of those pens. I have an original Indonesian batik on the wall, which my great uncle brought home from one of his travels. (Indonesia used to be Dutch).
When you say football, I assume you mean baseball not soccer. Soccer is on every tv set here because of the FIFA World cup in Qatar. I myself am not interested in soccer (and we don't have a TV anyway).
Hubby is now unconscious so things are now less fraught. It's a question of waiting now. We have soft music playing and it's okay...
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

Such fun to create those skulls and the lemonade looks so delicious, I'd love to try some 😊. I bet it tastes even nicer with lemons from your own tree! Wishing you a very happy T Day! Hugs Jo x

I agree with you, football is boring. My hubby and boys are into it and it is on EVERY Monday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Through the years I have found ways to spend the time so I don't get angry about it taking up so much time. Now I paint while listening to audiobooks or read a book in the same room.
That is great that you had a relaxing weekend, making art.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate

Lemons in water, just yum. I recently gave away a bunch of kitchen stuff that I loved and used though didn't want anymore. It's fun to do that. Happy FriYay! Cheers, Ivy.

Those skulls turned out really well. I need to do a huge purge too, I have already told people I don't want any more stuff at xmas. Still looking after sick kitties, so I'm very late to the party. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx

Hi, Nicole! I'm catching up on your posts which I always enjoy. I'm with you: Patrick Mahomes is a little cutie. He's much more fun to watch right now than my poor Broncos. Sometimes I watch football with Terry, but I find it hard to sit there for hours. I like to be accomplishing something with football in the background. And right now Terry is watching American football, American college football, and the World Cup. I'd go nuts sitting through all that. I feel like I've been purging for a decade or more, and I've still got lots to toss. Good luck as you go through your things. Have a happy week!
