I hope all of you had a great weekend. I was busy but my weekend was quite enjoyable.
I finished another shrunken head that I am very pleased with. I will show you on Friday Face OFF. I got my house cleaned for winter. I still have 2 walls to wash and then I am done.
Several of you have asked to see my art room. Well it's a mess because I am creating but here it is in all it's glory. LOL
The door is usually open
As I walk in
Facing where I walk in
Going right around the room
Yes, I am packed in here even with all the wall shelves.
However, I know where every little thing is.
This is where magic happens. Even have herbs from the garden hanging
The top shelves are things I don't use very often. Bottom shelves are things I use most days.
The room is not very big. Mr. M. built the wall shelves when we first moved in here. I don't know what I would do with out them.
I am watching brilliant series on Prime called, "The man in the high castle"
Written by Philip E Dick if you have ever read his books you know how his brain works. The movie, from one of his books, is a story about how life would be if hitler won the war. It is so well done with a resistance twist. I can't stop watching it.
I am linking up with Bluebeard and Elizabeth for the T-Party. To get into this party I have to show some sort of dink. Well because I am writing this Monday night, Samhain, I had to go with these drinks.
I hope you join in. It's simple, make a post featuring a face. Put a link back to my blog, link up with Mr. Linky, leave a comment here then go see what all the other artist have created. It can be any kind of face from nature to aliens, monsters, and oh yes humans. LOL
Today is my last skull in graphite. I have so enjoyed drawing these but it is time to move on. Ya know to molded and sculpted skulls.
If you didn't see my post yesterday I am making shrunken heads. These are my mummified shrunken heads.
What is a house without a prehistoric skeleton?
These are resin skulls with great detail. The sit by Marie.
This is Marie. She stands a foot tall. I hand carried her home from one of my trips to Mexico.
Her head swivels too.
So classy and sassy at the same time. I love the umbrella.
Now she is looking the other way
Come on how sexy is that leg?
It was pumpkin carving time in Florida with the great granddaughters.
