T Stands for blogger trouble

 Hi Everyone!

I am having huge blogger trouble. When I click on a link to read a blog page it comes up HTML and I can't open "layout" to change the links. I have been to the forums and many people are having this trouble. Since I have the same problem on 2 different browsers I know it's a blogger thing. Hope they get it fixed soon.

Today is T Tuesday over at
Most of my life I have been a coffee drinker. I mean can't start my day without a cup and a pot going all through the day. I drink it hot and black. No sweet stuff in my coffee. However, over the years I have slowed down and then quit drinking it all together. Mr. M. drinks tea. The last few weeks though, I have been craving coffee. Weird right? I don't want to open a 4lb can of coffee and pull my coffee pot out just to have one cup now and then. So, Mr. M. suggested instant coffee. First off it is an OMG! moment at the price of it. But we found some today that was on sale. You can't go by the instructions on the jar to make a single cup. 1 full rounded teaspoon to a cup of hot water. I already knew that is too much coffee for one cup. I put in about 1/2 a teaspoon. OHH YUCK! still too much. It was bitter as ever.
I adjusted the water and got it just right. Is it as good as drip, or perked, or steamed? NO, but it will hold me over when I have that caffeine craving.

I don't care what type of artist you are there is nothing like getting new supplies. Even if it is just one little thing. I've been wanting a Tombow Mono Zero Pen eraser for awhile. Mr. M. said I could use his but I would rather have my own. LOL
I ordered mine from Amazon and it got here in one day. I love this tool.

I've been cleaning up the garden area and sanitizing garden buckets for next year. I still have some lettuce, carrots  onions and potatoes growing. I'm so hoping we don't get cold until they are ready to harvest. Also finally my rosemary has taken off.
It smells so good.

Well that's it for now.
Have a great Tuesday!

Nicole

Isn't it funny how you don't want something for a long time and then suddenly want it again? I'm not a coffee drinker and never have been, but I'm glad you found out how to get a decent cup with instant coffee. And I do agree about getting new art supplies. It is such an exciting thing. I hope your blogger situation gets squared away and you have a happy T day and week ahead. hugs-Erika

Blogger problems are all over the place. I was having a lot of problmes with links on my new iPad, including Blogger and lots of other programs, but they all went away when I changed the security settings. Don’t know what hardware or software you have, so it’s probably another challenge for you.

We buy our coffee in smaller quantities — sometimes as little as 1/2 a pound, depending on how much we plan to drink. And we use a French Press or a filter pour-over cone so we make it in small quantities if that’s what we want. I agree with you that instant is too bitter, and just doesn’t taste the same.

I love coffee as well, it's the best thing in the morning. I drink mine with milk and I only have one cup and no more after that, but this one cup is my little piece of morning heaven. I can well understand that you sometimes have coffee cravings. - Blogger can be such a pain. So far so good, I haven't had any major problems, only those little annoyances that I have to check the spam folder for comments etc. I don't know why there are always these problems and I don't think they care since it is a free service. Happy T day, Nicole.

Yes, I drank coffee for years, black. Then, when visiting relatives in New Orleans, I was introduced to chicory coffee with milk. Very good. Eventually after drinking strong black coffee well into my 50s and I started in high school, I was told for stomach issues to stop drinking caffeine. I quit coffee and pop for about 10 years. In the last ten years I became a tea drinker, supposedly not as much caffeine. I can't stand coffee now, too bitter. Why does it always smell so good, though? Sorry for the rant! Happy T Day!

Hi Nicole, something is up with blogger for sure-when I click on a link to someone's blog it just sits there and "thinks about it " ha ha If I let it alone which takes at least 45 seconds or so it will eventually take me to the blog link I want to read.
wondering if they did some sort of upgrade that went wrong.
I have found if I want instant coffee around-I use it mostly to make kaluha-it's best to use a really good quality brand for best flavor. everything is getting more expensive-sad
Your rosemary plants looks wonderful, mine never winter over though Have a good week Kathy

I've had one other blogger buddy tell me the same issue when he tries to access blogs. I hope whatever is causing it stops doing so soon!

Blogger gives most a hard time, but, well, it´s free.
It was OK for a decade for me.
I cannot have coffee no more, my stomach doesn´t like it. Sad,as Ingo has a new machine with many brands.
That eraser looks like what I want, too!
Oh, I must take care of my balcony herbs, thank you for the reminder and have a happy T-Day!

Hi Nicole. Seems like we are both having problems at your blog. I hope Blogger gets its act together soon.

I am glad you found an instant coffee you like. I'm a coffee snob. I admit it. I grind my beans just before I make a pot of coffee. I use filtered water. Like I said, a coffee snob (grin).

I have a Pentel eraser and it works great. I've not heard of the Tombow before. Apparently it works well, since you know what it's like.

Your rosemary is in much better shape than mine. Mine is looking bad after four years. Yours is beautiful. I LOVE to use mine with potatoes. How do you use yours?

Thanks for sharing your rosemary, your new Tombow Mono Zero Pen eraser, and your instant coffee with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

I too am a coffee drinker. It's amazing the extent to which drinking coffee is part of my routine. I have two cups in the morning at breakfast, which is early for us, between five and six a.m,, and another mid morning when we break from whatever we are doing for fifteen minutes. After dinner at night we usually have a decaf.

Your rosemary plant looks beautiful. Sounds like you still have a lot left to harvest.
I don't drink coffee but hubby does. We try to have instant coffee on hand in case we run out. I love visiting the Asian markets and he went with me one week. We found several varietie of instant coffee and some are prepackaged with cream and sugar included in the packets. Weird but it must be a thing over there. We bought some to have on hand.
I use Wordpress and I am glad I do. I am always hearing about Blogger and the crazy things it does to people's posts.
Happy Tea day,
Kate

I have trouble with commenting on some blogs. I hope they get it fixed soon.

The only instant coffee that I like is one we get in Mexico. The same one here in the states simply isn't as good. But last visit we found a great brew coffee there so that we didn't have to drink instant.
Your rosemary looks wonderful.

I'm not having blogger problems right now, but that one sounds difficult to deal with. I hope they've fixed it by now.

I remember instant coffee but haven't had any in ages. I just have one cup or 2 in the mornings, but I use a single cup pourover or a 2-cup French press. I'm guessing my coffee gets stale and that I just don't notice lol

Happy T Tuesday!

I have wanted one of those erasers. I may get one someday. I am going to the kitchen right now to make some coffee!

Drinking my coffee and enjoying your post! Thank you. Blogger always repairs eventually. Sorry you're having a problem

Good luck with your blogger problem. I don't think I've experienced that one when I go to do a post.

Yup, Blogger. Mine seems to have cleared up today. Maybe clear you cache is you're still having problems. I was gifted that eraser by a friend a couple of years ago. Now I wonder how I lived without it. Happy T Day

I'm sorry to hear you are having Blogger problems. Luckily (fingers crossed) I have no problems at the moment. I hope yours get fixed soon.
Yes, It is strange that all of a sudden you crave coffee. And yes, instant coffee is bitter. I don't drink a lot of coffee, but I like one cup each day. My body knows this and between midday and 1pm, which is the time we usually have coffee and a snack, I start wanting my coffee. I have a machine called a Senseo, which uses paper pods. And I sometimes use a French press. I have one for one cup.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

Nicole, your comment came through. Twice.
Blogger just sucks!
I wait a while and click F5 and if not there try again (Strg A + STRG C before that, then STRG V, maybe "an old hat" for you).
For crying out loud, how many times might I´ve made double entries cause I´m not willing to wait hours to check back!

Hopefully Blogger will sort itself out eventually! Wow, your harvest of veggies sounds amazing. Homegrown produce is the best 😊. Happy T Day wishes! Hugs Jo x

Hi Nicole, I use those Tombow mono erasers too, during 2020 it was impossible to get any refills for them, but I have stocked up since then so I'm good for a while, just in case. I've never liked instant coffee, though that's all we drank growing up, so I guess I grew out of the taste or something but I can never get it tasting right now. It is handy for adding to baked goods if you need coffee flavour though. Hope you are well, Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx

Hi, Nicole!
I've been reading about your Blogger issues in your last few posts. I was having horrible problems with Blogger similar to ones you've mentioned. Somewhere I read online to turn off "cross-site tracking prevention" in Privacy Preferences. So I did, and it cleared up all sorts of things. Turning it off does decrease security, but so far it's been okay. Maybe this fix might help you.

I am a huge coffee drinker. I like it strong with a lot of half and half. It's too hard on my stomach otherwise. I've tried to drink tea, but I don't consistently drink it. I love coffee too much.

I recently bought a beginner's acrylic painting set, cheap and basic, but I haven't used it yet. Too much other stuff going on, but I will get to it.

Take care!

I'm glad you found a way to address your coffee craving. I drink coffee three times a day, in a tiny cup. No more than 6 ounce in day. Mostly because I'm a total sugar addict when it comes to coffee, and I never never have more than 3 teaspoons of raw sugar per day.

Your rosemary looks so luscious. 💚

We also drink instant coffee. It is also less expensive.
I sometimes have it with milk and without sugar, but many times I like drinking tea at breakfast.
Enjoy the rest of week, Nicole :-)

Happy T-day a little late, Nicole.

My youngest daughter often drinks instant when she comes over in the mornings because she says our coffee is too weak for her. She likes it, but I have never developed a taste for it. I do use it in some recipes (cake, muffins, cookies). Everything is expensive these days it seems....hoping that changes but not holding my breath.

How wonderful your garden is still going. I am still jealous! One day I am going to try gardening even if just some herbs. Hopefully it will stay warm enough for your final harvest.

I agree with you on the art supplies - even a litle thing can make you happy and sharing supplies with husbands is not always a good idea.

Hope you have a good week and many hugz
