Hi Everyone!
Today is T stands for Tea, hosted by
To get into the T-Party I have to show a drink. Well this week I have been drinking Lemon Ginger tea. I had a lupus flare that attacked my digestive system that has had me fighting this for the last week. Finally today I got into the doctor for a script and an ex ray on my stomach. Ohhh and a liquid diet for the last week. The tea really made it all better.
We had 2 days of warm sunny days and the garden just takes it all in.
Not many potatoes from one bucket. The rain just soaked them and stunted the growth. I am thankful for these. I will add these to a big pot of stew and then can it.
Grey squash and Zucchini |
One bucket of potatoes. |
|
These onions in the ground are getting so big. I think they like the sandy soil. |
YaY finally peas. |
I am loving the beets. Can't wait to pickle them |
to see what everyone is dong.

Hi Nicole, so sorry about your stomach issues, I am always fighting digestive issues too. Your garden is producing wonderfully, we had gotten a really nice cool down for few days with storms first.
take care Happy T
Sorry about the lupus flare. Your veggies are looking great! Valerie

It´s an up and down it seems!
Love the poppy, yikes to "now"...
Anyways a happy T-Day!
We drink lemon ginger tea now and then, but I have to confess that I am not really a big fan of tea. My wife is more so than I am.
So sorry you have had fare ups, Nicole, but glad you have the tea to help you. Your garden looks amazing. Love the poppy flower and the beets especially. When staying at a farm in Gatlinburg, she roasted beets and served them with breakfast and I have been hooked ever since. Happy T-day and many hugz
I love a good herbal tea. I bought a selection of fruity teas by Stash Tea recently. There was also a Lemon Ginger tea in it. It is very tasty.
What a lovely harvest you have already, Nicole. Seems weather conditions favor you and your garden choices.
Sorry to read you have lupus and a flare up this week. I'm glad you found something that helps with your digestion. Thanks for sharing your growing garden, your harvest, and your tea that will help your lupus with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.
Your garden harvests are exciting Nicole. You must have not lost all your potato plants in that rain. And lucky you to get poppies. I can't get them to grow to save my life. I must say lemon ginger tea is one of my favorites too, so nice choice. Hope your flare up ends and you can feel better soon. hugs-Erika
...enjoy your sunny day between your gloomy days!
Dear Nichole i am sorry you had troubled stomach last week. I hope with medicine and such tasty sounding tea you are feeling better already!
You are amazingly inspiring person i must say as i am always impressed by your hardworking nature :) this is rewarding and fulfilling harvest for sure !loved the gorgeous blooms as well .wishing your garden more sunshine.
Be we and healthy please. Hugs and blessings
I'm so glad the tea helped... That must be so difficult to deal with.. Little red potatoes.. a favorite of mine.. I like them with a little parsely.. salt and pepper and butter.. YUM... stew will be fantastic too!! I would think that pink flower is a poppy too... I'll bet those onions do like the sandy soil .. my Grandfather grew onions in Florida in sandy soil.. Oh we could use the rain.. Hubby and i sat on the back porch last night encouraging the storm coming up from the South.. We could SMELL the rain.. a little wind ... lightning.. but nope.. not a DROP!! Grrr... Friends South of us got some though so thats good... so so dry here in TX.. Happy happy T day Nicole! Hugs! deb
Love this time of year. Sorry to learn of the flare up.
Glad the tea helped your stomach! Your garden looks great!
I knew a woman once who had lupus. It was difficult to manage, and she had such a hard time of it. I'm glad the tea helped. Pretty flowers, and sooo many veggies! Happy T Tuesday
Glad to hear you are a bit better ~ Lemon Ginger tea is great ~ And your macro floral shots are delightful and wonderful garden harvest ~ Xo

Flare ups can be awful:(. Good to keep lemon ginger tea on hand - I do too. Wonderful garden produce and beautiful flower photos. Feel better, and happy T day!
We use teas for tummy issues too. We are not getting much rain and the weather has not been too humid. I am sure we will be having some steamy days in July.
Boa tarde Nicole. Desejo que você possa melhorar de saúde. Seu jardim está muito lindo e bem cuidado. Grande abraço carioca.
Wonderful and wow, so many yummy garden veggies too - enjoy! I'd happily join you for a cup of that lemon ginger tea, so yummy. Wishing you a very Happy T Day 😁. Hugs Jo x
A beautiful harvest from your garden. I am trying the potatoes in a trash can method this year. I am excited to see if I get a lot.
Sorry to hear of your Lupus flair up. I really enjoy that tea as I have a plethora of stomach/digestive issues. One of my favorites is Yogi Tea Stomach Ease. I buy it in bulk through Amazon. I hope that you are feeling better soon.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
I'm sorry about the lupus flare up and I hope you will feel much better real soon. The pink flower is a Shirley poppy - they are so pretty. If you leave the seedpod standing it might reseed and you will have more next year.
Hope that flare up ends soon, must be very hard to deal with....YOUR veg is awesome, that potato harvest is to be envied. It all looks fab! The Tea looks quite satisfying.
I hope you're feeling better. I like that tea when I'm having stomach issues. Your garden looks wonderful and so cool that you got potatoes. PlantNet identified the pink flower as a poppy, too. Happy T Day
Sorry about your stomach issues, I have a few of those too and I'm actually drinking ginger and lemon tea right now lol. The garden is being very productive, your potatoes look great as does that cabbage. Hope you feel better soon. Happy T Day! Elle/EOTC xx
I am sorry about your lupus flare up. I am glad the tea helped. Your garden looks beautiful. I used to grow beets when I gardened. My husband loves beets. :) Happy T Day.
Lemon and ginger are my two favorite flavors! Now that sounds like good tea. Bummer about the flare up, though. Hope it eases and soon.
I don't think my comments are getting through...??
