Friday Face OFF June 17, 2022

 Hi Everyone!

I am writing this Friday Face Off after a trip to Salem for Mr. M's. Doctor apt. While in Salem we do our monthly shopping too. It truly makes for a very long day. However, to my glory it was sunny, with warmth and it made the trip quite enjoyable. When the days are nice we stop at a lovely park in the very small town of Halsey, Oregon, to have a bite to eat. I always pack a lunch. Saves us at least $30.00 NOT to eat out. I will show photos in a minute.
For now I want to thank all of you who join with Friday Face OFF. All you have to do is make a post featuring a face and then link up. It can be in any medium.
I have been creating some serious faces in graphite and for today I just wanted something fun and a bit crazy. So here is my clay guy for today

Like I said just for fun

I really love his teeth. Hee hee hee.
Here are some paintings I did a few years BC ya know Before Covid
These are all painted with acrylic with Gold Leaf embellishment. All sold quite quickly.

The Park
Nice for kids, there are swings and monkey bars too.
Nice for big gatherings and several grills to cook on.
There's a place to play horse shoes too.

Now it's your turn. Just link up a face.

I am also linking with
lunchbreak

OMG! The tooth are great, but sorry don't wish for me ;))
I love your face paintings, and don't wonder that all was sold. The first and the last are my favorites.
Thank you for sharing the beautiful photos, Nicole.
Wishing happy weekend you xx

Not only do you save money by taking your own lunch you probably eat better too. I don't usually join your link because my blog posts don't qualify, but today you can see the beautiful faces of Jared and Sophie. And that seems justification enough.

Your clay face is kind of spooky, but those teeth are fun. I also like your BC face paintings. Nice faces this week Nicole. Have a great start to your weekend. hugs-Erika

A very interesting face, Nicole! The eyes are startling and he definitely needs an orthodontist! Lol. The gold-ish paint finish is perfect. I can’t decide if he’s scary or maybe he’s a carnival sideshow oddity. Either way, I’d not want to encounter him in a dark alley!

The faces with gold leaf are perfect for doll faces! It’s unique to see gold leaf these days. I love it. Pretty park!

It's nice to combine our chores with pleasure. I think it's the reason why I take the time to enjoy the flowers every time I have to go to the hospital--it makes the whole thing better.

Also, that face has some excellent teeth!

That clay head should be displayed in a dentist's office!

Those teeth! lol

That park looks like a pleasant place for a picnic. I've been shocked at how much eat-out prices have skyrocketed, so I'll join you with a lunch from home :)

I love your clay guy, the teeth are awesome! ☺☺ Smart of you to pack a lunch. I try to bring snacks for monthly shopping, but sometimes I'm so frazzled I forget.

Your clay face is amazing Nicole, quite a size and the eyes really bring him to life. Wouldn't he look fabulous mounted on canvas and given some wild hair. Really inventive. I always take a packed lunch when we have to travel further afield for appointments, a money saver and so much more healthier.
Happy Friday Face Off Hugs Tracey x

BC, LOL!!! Very good one! Love the faces, shoot, I forgot joining. To my excuse: Summer arrived and we went to the city - and had the first Pizza of the year!
Lovely park and weee... 30 dollars?! I would pack a lunch, too!

What a nice park! It's so clean and perfect for a pic nic. It's also good for children.
I'm Glad to hear you are enjoying sunny weather along the West coast.
Love your faces with their unusual teeth.

I was interested in the Wall Street Journal's article, which your gave me through your comment. Thank you for that, Nicole!
Have a nice weekend!

I hope all went well with Mr M's appointment. It's getting more and more expensive to eat out and I feel the food is never as good as the food you make yourself anyway. Your packed lunch at a park sounds like a great idea and gives you a moment to relax with it being a busy day.

Great faces! I'm impressed with how well you did the teeth on your recent one. Well done! Did you paint the eyes too?

I hope you have a lovely weekend. x

I like your happy clay guy. He needs those teeth for gnawing through mammoth legs. :-)
