Movie Monday

 Greetings!
It is actually Sunday evening, and I have to say it is gorgeous out today. It is our one day break from the upcoming week of rain and wind. Rain, from TAD, and I suggest movies to each other. Rain told me about a movie called Run with Sarah Paulson and Kiera Allen. This movie was a bit predictable but is the kind of movie I love to watch.
Chloe was raised by her mother Diane in total isolation. Her mother has totally controlled her since she was born, but now as a teenager Chloe is starting to explore her mother's secrets.
And the secrets are vicious.
I got a 30 day free trial of Hulu and watched it there.

I am very happy with Hulu. There are a ton of movies to watch and they all seem to be very good. Not B-ish like most of Netflix is now.

A few weeks ago I started watching the series
"Call the Midwife". It is a PBS production and lasted 10 seasons. That is pretty darn good for a series. Yes I have watched all 10. I have to tell you I was hooked the very first episode. I fell in love with all of the characters and could not stop watching it. Each episode will be streaming in Passport at the Call the Midwife Official Site I am not sure what that is, or on your favorite streaming device: Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android, iOS device, or Samsung Smart TV using the PBS Video app.
However, you can watch all the episodes free here.

Well that is it for me, I have dishes to do and then get a special order finished up.
Have a great Monday.

My sister is a huge "Call the Midwife" fan and has seen every episode, I think! Enjoy the series! With 10 years worth of episodes, it will take you a while to see them all!

I hate to admit it, but I have never watched The Midwife. "Passport" is a privilege you get when you make a minimum $75.00/year donation to your local PBS station. It is the ONLY donation I make each year, although I have given to others in the past, like Wounded Warrior Project. It's worth it to me, since I don't get Netflix, Hulu, Acorn, or any other streaming service. Nice to read I can get Passport on Roku. Thanks for sharing this film, even if I can't watch it.

I adore Call the Midwife. Some of the best writing on TV. Did you see it Sunday night? Talk about a cliffhanger. One more episode to resolve a few critical things!

I absolutely adore Call the Midwife. The good news is that it didn't end at Season 10. We are currently watching Season 11 on Binge and there will be a Season 12. :)

Hulu is on my list of services I'd like to subscribe to, but I feel like I should let something else go first...
