Hello Everyone!
I hope that where you live you are warm. We missed the strong winds yesterday, thank the gods, but 2 inches of rain and it continues today. I can deal with that. LOL
Today is T stands for my favorite candle and I am sharing Bluebeard and Elizabeth's T-Party.
It doesn't feel like there is much going on around here. I don't know if I have ever mentioned that I love candles. I burn them everyday. I do NOT like scented candles though. About 35 years ago my baby brother and his wife gave me this candle. It's a replica of an adobe house. The outside is like rock and it weighs about 5 pounds. When it's lit the window light up too. It's been a treasure of mine all these years. Today I am going to put a new wick in. Hope it still lights up the house when I am done.
To get into the part I am showing my morning coffee. Black and hot. No cream or sugar for me. LOL

That candle is amazing! I take my coffee strong and black, too, with no sugar. (I'm having issues with the comment form here. It won't sign me in with my Google account but defaults to "Anonymous". Divers and Sundry here, in case it doesn't show that...)

Good morning, I loved seeing your candle-very fun. I always loved candles too but then I got worried about fires if I forget about that they are burning-I use unscented candles too. I am a black coffee gal too Happy T wishes

And today I can leave a comment, yay! I couldn't yesterday. Blogger wouldn't let me and it was impossible to see the comment box because of the black background, so I'm glad you changed that to white.
AAahhhh you drink coffee like my mom and all her sisters.... Me.. i need cream and sugar.. What an amazing candle.. LOVE! It must be a beautiful glow in the evenings... I do like my candles to smell.. usually something earthy.. Happy happy T day! Hugs! deb
What a unique and beautiful candle. We love burning candles too-especially the Woodwick candle that smells just like a burning wood fire...
We got heavy downpours along with some thunder throughout last eve and night. Thankfully it's over but it got cold and very windy today:(. Mother nature is playing with us i think;). happy T day!
That's a cool candle. My first thought was those sand candles that people made in the 70's, but I never saw one that looked so nice. What a fun candle. Hope your wind stays away. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika

What an unusual candle. It started out a bit cold but became warm enough to sit in the garden this afternoon.
Love that candle. We had snow here, but it's gone now. I'm ready for spring. I hope your weather lets you have a good garden this year.

That candle holder is very neat but I was intrigued by the sound of the old man crying. I would have loved to see that. We are having snow /rain and wind today. I wish Spring would really come.

It looks like your new wick is working just fine. It looks safe too which is most important. I'm a little skittish about fire after having lost a home in a wildfire (no candles involved).

What a beautiful candle! I would like that one very much as well. Like you, I'm not a fan of scented candles, and it seems quite difficult to get non-scented candles. I usually buy a whole bunch from Trader Joe's when they carry them during the holidays.
I've never seen a candle like yours or your mother's. They are fascinating! :)
your adobe house is unusual, I would treasure it too. I love to have candlelight early in the morning and late at night, it's calming but I do like fragranced ones - only if they are with natural oils though (synthetic are not good for us or our pets) :)
The candle reminds me of home (New Mexico) as many homes actually look like this - even down to the hanging red peppers. I love your candle and that you have treasured it all these years. The one your Mom had sounds really cool too. Having a coffee while I read this (with a bit of cream) so raising a mug to yours. Happy late T-day! Hugz

never saw such elegant and uniquely designed candle dear Nichole ,so glad you shared it ,i loved it so much and the other you mentioned belong to your mom wow two feet tall with face sounds fascinating to me .how lovely you kept the treasured gift for thirty five years
