T Stands for A Bit of Everything

 Hi Everyone!

It's Tuesday and that means we are all meeting up with Bluebeard and Elizabeth for the T-Party.  Today I am a bit all over the map. I have been battling some sever pain in my hips and low back. I finally got into the hip doctor, she reports that for my age my hips look great. Ya know, on the ex-ray. Then she did a physical exam of my hips and it turns out I have bursitis on both hips. REALLY???? She said the injection is very painful and wanted me to go home put heat for 10 minutes then massage the area to the point of hurting. I have a 6 prong Shiatsu massager.

that will do the trick. After the first treatment I felt better. The next day though I was in so much pain I wanted to go to the ER. Today I am fine. We will see what tomorrow brings. Sooo I said all of that to say nothing feels organized or together. Here are some random photos.

The first 4 photos is the view on HWY 126 leaving Florence going east.

 This is the Siuslaw River.

After 14 miles we come to the small town of Mapleton.

Back home potatoes are pushing through the dirt.

This pot of potatoes is going for it.

Beans that I have in the little green house.

A nice start on this salad mix.

And here is a smoothie made with 3 kinds of frozen berries, beetroot powder, and ground flax and chia. I can't tell you how good this is. I don't like milk products in my smoothies so I add a bit of cold sparkling water.

Hope all of you have a very nice day.

Nicole

Sorry to hear about your hip pain. That sounds really awful. I hope the injections and massage work and give you some relief.
Happy Tea Day,

I know nothing about bursitis but I hope it's the kind of thing that can clear up and go away.

I hope your hips keep getting better, but a cortisone injection seems to be what really works, and it is no fun!

I'm glad it's treatable. The massage sounds nice :) My seeds haven't sprouted yet, but I got a late start with them. I don't drink smoothies, though I do like eating the fruit. Happy T Tuesday!

The smoothie looks delicious and very refreshing. I like the addition of sprakling water instead of milk or yogurt. I hope your hip pain will go away, that certainly doesn't sound like fun at all, and I guess it is also limiting you in your gardening. Not a good time for that right now.

I am so sorry for your hip pain. I hope it gets better quickly, or that you find a way to treat it. It is no fun. I am 76 and hurt just about everywhere! LOL But, it is never so bad I haven't been able to live it. I hope you can get some help. Your berry smoothie looks absolutely scrumptious! Happy t day!

I couldn't leave a comment yesterday, no matter how hard I tried. I gave up. Happy BIRTHDAY, dear. I wanted to tell you yesterday because I have it in my calendar. Sorry about your bursitis. I've never had it, but I have a form of arthritis that I was born with. I hope the massager helps.

Your garden pots are already looking good. I haven't even started most of mine yet.

LOVE the looks of that smoothie. It looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing your random photos and your smoothie for T this belated Tuesday.

I’m sorry to hear you’re in so much pain. I hope the massage thing helps. Heat does, I know that. Try a TENS machine if you happen to own one.
I love seeing your plants starting to pop up. A promise for later.
The smoothie looks very refreshing indeed.
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
