I hope everyone had a nice weekend.
We had one day of fair weather, so Mr. M. cut some wood to get my elevated garden going. However, tomorrow, which is Monday, we are having at least 2" of rain, 45MPH winds with 65MPH gusts. Have I told you how much I hate the weather on the Oregon coast?
Everything is tied down.
So, for Movie Monday a new series started on Amazon Prime. It's called, "Outer Range" and stars James Brolin, Lili Taylor and a host of other great actors. The story is great! Just the kind of sci fi mystery I love. However, Alonso Ruizpalacios who I think filmed this episode shot it dark. I mean to where in some places you can't see anything but black. I HATE that in a movie. That is what ruined the last series of GOT. It was shot too dark. I told Mr. M. that if it continues to be dark I won't watch it. I am leaving it up to you to take this series on or not. Like I said the story line and acting is excellent.
The Abbotts are coping with the disappearance of their daughter-in-law when the neighboring Tillersons make a play for their ranch land. Tension comes to a head when a mysterious black void arrives in the Abbotts' pasture.
Of course the trailer doesn't show how dark it really is filmed. LOL

We're probably going to give it a try, but they're releasing it episode by episode, so we're waiting until there's more of them and we can binge them... I hope the weather gets better for you.
We have had a lovely weekend, the sun has been shining and we've enjoyed seeing family.

I have been very curious about this movie. Thanks for the review. You and I both like paranormal so I recommend GLITCH on Netflix. It is an Australia production. Talk about dark...I can't see to type my comment here.

Oh no! I had just seen that and planned to watch it but I hate when they shoot so dark you can't see anything, too. I may give it a shot and see. Interesting actors, anyways.
I really wanted to comment here when you posted but EVERYTHING was black background and I couldn't see where to type. Thanks for the tip on this pic. I put it on our list, though Prime does not often work without continual buffering. Only streamer that does that.
