I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was up and down. We are in a wind warning that's going through the night so hope everything stays put. I watched a movie today that I have been seeing and thought this is the day. It's called the Dress Maker with Kate Winslet. It's an Australian movie made in 2015. Along with Kate, Judy Davis, Liam Hemsworth, Sarah Snook and Hugo Weaving. It's a comedy drama about Kate who comes back to a crazy little town. She had been accused of killing a bully when she was young and sent away. Coming back tells the stories of the towns people and the truth about the bully's death. The ending is brilliant. I really enjoyed this movie. Hope you give it a try. I watched it on Prime.

Kate Winslet has been in some very unusual movies. I loved the very early one (before she was famous) called "Hideous Kinky." It's based on a novel by Esther Freud, who's also a quirky writer. The one you reviewed sounds interesting.

I remember seeing this film, it was great. Kate Winslet was very good in it.
