Hi Everyone!
I am writing this on Thursday.
I am exhausted, we just got back from our monthly trip to Salem. I can't tell you how difficult the drive is for us. 6 hours in the car just doesn't work for us any more. OK, with that said, before I show my Friday Face off I want to talk about leaving comments. I don't know how my comments page went black on black. Just a few days ago it was fine, anyway on my screen. Also many of us are having trouble leaving comments. It may be blogger but it is also the security and firewalls that your browsers have set in place. I use Mozzila/FireFox, but with an update several months ago I can no longer leave comments on several blogger pages. After some research I cleaned cookies, history and cache. That helped with a few but I found if I change to Edge browser I have no trouble at all leaving comments. The other thing is, if I click on someone who left a comment and click on their blog, I cannot leave a comment. On Mozzilla I can't even reply to people who comment on my page. Soooo.... if you are having trouble try changing browsers. I now keep both browsers up at the same time. Hope this helps.
This is a new totem for my upcoming show. Ya know if it ever stops raining.

The comment for is normal for me - just so you know.
Your little totem is interesting. To me, it looks very Mayan.
I've had not problem commenting lately. Sometimes the convenience of having email and the internet, etc. can be more work. I'm loving your face off totem today too. Have a great end of your week!
I was one who had trouble recently leaving a comment on your black background. This is much easier top see and read. That's quite an unusual totem, Nicole. I am enjoying this face off challenge.
...blogger hasn't been behaving nicely lately!
I just had trouble that one day leaving comments when your page was black. Everything is fine now, at least for me! I use Google Chrome as my browser because it is most compatible with Google's Blogger platform.
Wonderful piece, enjoy your weekend, Valerie
I can't leave a comment on your blog, Nicole. I don't know the reason. That's why I am writing this comment as a reply to another blogger who follows you.
I will not update my pc until I can. PC Update = trouble.
Have a nice weekend, Nicole :-)
P.S.: glad to see you enjoyed my post about that small old village in the hills ... You can visit its alleys and stone houses whenever you want :-)
All the best!
Giorgio, I can only leave comments on my own blog if I change to the Edge browser.
Nice totem!
What a wonderful piece, it has such character! I'm glad you figured out what the problem was...
What a face. Like having your own gargoyle protection to chase away evil spirits or a strange totem hanging about just to give you a giggle. I like it!
I have had trouble with some blogs with leaving comments but I don't have a clue how to change a browser and wouldn't dare if I did. I am notorious for being able to mess up my laptop without even trying--LOL!
Nice post, things explained in details. Thank You.
marvelous art dear Nichole ,thanks for tips ,i will try because i am also having issues of not being able to comment on friends blogs .
i found easy to read through your new page .
blessings!
Yes, blogger in FF plays tricks on me, too!
The totem is not amused, it seems!
But he gave me a smile, to a happy day and yay for your solution!
So far the commenting process seems to be working for me, both receiving and leaving. Fingers crossed it continues that way!
What a guy! He stands tall among the others.
thats a really interesting face! 😀
I can comment just fine. But some people have told me that they've been having issues leaving comments or linking on a poetry blog I co-cost. I will send them a link to your post. I think it will help, so thank you.
I really like the colors you used for the totem, and the serious expression too.
Totem is awesome ~ commented before but testing this ~ Xo

I see the reflection of a sunrise in his eyes. Neat!
Another fabulous totem Nicole.
Hope you're feeling rested now, after your trip to Salem.
I still can't get over the fact that you knew Donny and Marie.
Have a good weekend.

I use Firefox but haven't had trouble with it or Blogger lately. Your trip to Salem sounds like quite a trial. 6 hours?! I'd find that unmanageable :(
Everyone is complaining about comments now, and I have had some of the same experiences with error messages when I tried to comment -- the most extreme said I was a "suspected bot." I deny THAT! Another said only "members" could leave comments.
good luck with straightening it all out ... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
