I hope all of you had a nice weekend. We got some things around the house done. I have been doing some spring cleaning. My friend called to tell me gas is at $5.00 a gallon here. Nothing we can do about it. What is gas in your area?
This week I will admit I have been binge watching on "Downton Abbey".
Part of the reason is I was watching "The Gilded Age" on HBO and because I gave up my cable am missing the very last episode. Hey it's only TV. In place I started on D.A. It didn't take me long to connect with the characters and who doesn't love
Elizabeth Mcgovern, Maggie Smith and Phylis Loagan Just to mention a very few of the cast.
I am watching this on Roku TV. You can also see it on Prime, Peacock, and Netflix.
The series follows the lives of the Crawleys, the aristocratic family
who lives in Downton Abbey. Their story began in 1912 and has continued
to the '20s. It's very well done

I haven't bought gas in weeks and don't even know how much it costs. I'll be in for a shock, I guess. I don't get out much.
I was late coming to Downton Abbey, dismissing it as an Upstairs/Downstairs wannabe, but once I started watching I became a convert.
We loved Downton Abbey, seen it all on the BBC here, and the film is great too Nicole. We don't have cable, so we can't watch The Gilded Age, which is a pity. How annoying to miss the last episode!
...I enjoy many things from the BBC, but Downton Abbey was never one of them.
At the moment here gas is about $1.50 per litre, which works out to approx $6.00 per gallon.
I enjoyed Downton Abbey.

I have yet to start The Gilded Age but it is waiting (along with hundreds more movies and shows).
Everything is getting more expensive, it´s a pain. And so many people coming here in addition, I expect weird times.
I've never seen Downton Abbey, but I have friends who love it.
I just love all the attention to details in the set/house and costumes

yes in my country rising in petrol and gas price has been so often and much more increment ,public is shouting but who cares
