T day 29 faces

 Hi Everyone!

Today is the T-party over at
I was going to speak on the mask mandates being lifted here in the US. but then, decided that the horror of the situation will play out and my writing about it won't change a thing. Instead, something happy.
Mr. M. walks 3 or more miles everyday. He has been doing this for 12 years. Yesterday, he made a stop and brought home this beauty for me. Like I posted before, it's the little things that count.
We spent the day in happy bliss not caring what was/is going on out in the world.
Wish everyday could be like that. LOL
I am also doing the 29 Faces challenge. Martha started this many years ago. She wanted to just get people motivated to create and this is a good way to do it.
Here is my clay face for day 15.

I am linking with BY EAGHL so stop by her blot to see here lovely art.

Now my ticket to the T-Party
Have a great day today!

Nicole

  9. Oh, that's a great clay face! I remember the February 29 faces challenge - I used to do it, or better say I started it and usually gave up after 2 weeks at the most. Isn't she also doing one in the fall if I remember correctly?

  12. They can have my mask when they drag it from my cold dead ears. Oh wait. I think that is GUN and hand. Same feeling, though and I will NOT be removing mine anytime soon.

That's a really different clay face. Very elongated. So sweet of your husband to buy you a rose. Yes, the little things make the big difference.

Your blueberry cake and water make a big splash in my book. Thanks for sharing your art, your Valentine rose, and your water (and cake) with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.

  13. Ok, Nicole, that’s it! I’m done fighting the inspiration you have inadvertently foisted on me. Finally, I’m accepting our ongoing mutual desire to see and create faces! I have the clay so finally I said to myself “Self, get busy!” I started one today, but alas, I am probably at least a few decades older and slower than I used to be. It’s really fun to see a face suddenly peeking back at me from the clay. I will finish it, paint it and post it soon! I LOVE yours and hope I can be original with creating my own!
Oh…I don’t know how I missed your post about onion growing and planting, but I want to do that too.
I always check out your creepy movie suggestions too. Are you certain we are not related?! 🤣🤣🤣

  14. PS…another thing we have in common…our mutual feeling about the way people react to what will save them from Covid. We all have an obligation to society as a whole!!!

  22. Nicole,

I proud of your hubby for walking every day. I have been doing it since Christmas - but only up to 1 mile and some days 1.5. Proud of him for the flower too. Lovely.

Your face is fabulous and such a great idea to do clay faces. Fun!

That dessert looks wonderful and yummy...I am still on the diet, but it is still going well.

    Happy T-day and hugz

  23. Little things do count. In fact most of life is made up of small gestures and actions, not grand events.
