Day 18 for 29 faces.

 Hi Everyone!

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day on the coast of Oregon. We decided to get out of the house and take a drive just North of Florence to the North Fork of the Siuslaw River. The water is very high and I don't think it is due to the tides.
But one never knows around here. LOL
It is so quiet and peaceful out this way. Not many homes and the ones that are there have several acres between them. There is a stop for picnic and boat launches, although it is a pretty bad launch. The  water was like glass with not a whisper of a breeze and the sun was warm. Further up the road was a nice fat, healthy heard of Elk. The wasn't any place to pull over so the shots came out poorly. Too many trees in the way.

Lots of rules here and $5.00 for the day. We have a pass card.

It was a great day.

This is crinkly old man clay face.
I hope you are all finding peace where ever you live.
Be sure to stop by BY EAGHL to see her art.

The face is cool! I can't imagine living where you can see elk. That is awesome. It looks like a beautiful spot where you live.

That's really an unusual face, Nicole! Congrats!
River water is always higher in Winter. It seems a peaceful place along the coast of Oregon. I'd like to run there.

Oregon looks like a lovely place to live! Your description makes it sound gloriously unspoiled, which was what we also saw on our visit there in the fall.

I was offline since midday yesterday due to an area wide outage at AT&T. Now I'm trying to catch up. Just a beautiful area and a lovely olace to have a picnic in spring. You are so lucky to live where you do.

That's quite an unusual face today. Reminds me of a Buddha or an old knight.
