Sunday Morning

Good morning to you all of you.

I have been up for a while. I have prepared and in the canner 9 pints of ground beef. Some of the pints have crumbled beef and some I made into patties. I will put a link below on how to do this. It is brilliant!

Yesterday I made some cream of veggie soup. For me this is a go to meal. I use veggies I love, like broccoli, potato, mushrooms and lots of herbs. I also use some of my homemade and canned veggie broth. You can use what you have on hand. I always put in a bay leaf too.

Once it's all cooked through place it into a blender or food processor. Leave out most of the liquid. You can always add more if needed.

Process the veggies to your desired texture.
It is ready to eat. No fat and it is delicious.

On the art scene my beautiful daughter sent these textured patina paints to me. What a sweetheart she is.

I used some on this terracotta clay face I made.
I love the effect.
I drilled a hole for a chain that will go through it. Then I am sending it to my daughter to hang on her dresser mirror.

For the link to canning beef or sausage patties.

Have a great day today.

Vegetable soup is a staple in this house, using several different recipes. I should get busy and make a batch.

Whilst I read this the home-made Soljanka warms up and oh, thank you!!!
I wanted to defrost muffins, but we have so many carrots, the blender is on the way out for lunch!

LOL, at first I thought those were spices, but reckon your daughter thought wiser and will love this art!
To a happy Monday!

Soups are a good go-to meal, especially for Winter imo. I'm partial to bean soups.
