Hi Everyone!
It has been a busy Saturday and it's still morning. Don't get me wrong I love, need and want to be busy. Thanks to everyone who told me to relax and not to stress. I have been the stressor, worrier in my family my whole life. I actually have to stop and tell myself, sometimes out loud, that there are just some things I have no control of. I do have control of who I am and what day to day things I do. I try to be positive and show kindness.
That's not hard for me to do. I just wonder why it is for some.
I am happy to have such a wonderful group of blogging pals.
So, what have I done today? Ya, know household, PC, a quick trip to the store and now this post. I wanted to can today but I will do that tomorrow. Today I am going to play with clay.
Remember this painting I did some time ago?
My abstract forest.
It was laying on a table getting ready to hang on the wall when I laid this spirit doll on top of it. Wow! I couldn't believe how they belong together. What do you think?
I also made a 3 berry cobble for Mr. M.
OMG, Nicole! I see so much more than a spirit doll laid on top of the painting. To me it’s a migration of spiritual beings moving off to the right together, overseen by the main spirit watching from above. I love it!!!
ReplyDelete...there are LOTS of things that we don't have control of.
ReplyDeletewow it sure works with the doll, way to go!
ReplyDeleteYES to combining the Spirit Doll to your abstract painting! This discovery could open up whole new possibilities for your art!
ReplyDeleteThe cobbler looks so good! Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteYour spirit doll looks amazing on that painting. Like she belongs in that forest. Sometimes trying something leads to such great results, don't you agree? Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
ReplyDeleteFantastic Nicole! They belong together! The pie looks great, too. Valerie
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are trying to worry less Nicole because, all of us should be like that 😏
ReplyDeleteThe artwork seriously does belong together 💯 And that 3 berry cobble looks yummy 💜
Oh yes! They go together perfectly! :)
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde. Bom início de semana com muita paz e saúde. Parabéns pelo seu trabalho maravilhoso.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a good eye. I'd never have seen the possibility there.
