What a week and Garden Saturday

Happy Saturday to you!

Wow it was a hella week. Too busy to even go into it.
I have caught up on comments and hopefully I will have more steady days.
It is Garden Saturday.
The wind just doesn't go away. Our average sustain wind these days is 20MPH.  The gusts rattle my doors. So the outside garden is taking a beating but still producing.
The beans have come in and they are long and straight. I have also harvested cucumbers. Squash is still doing great and soon I am hoping for the tomatoes to turn red. Ohhh and the Jalapenos have showed up.
As for the sunflowers. 2 plants are over 8ft and on is over 9ft. It's crazy how bit they are. Flowers are starting to show up at the tops of the plants. These are black beauty or something like that. Not the big yellow ones we are use to seeing. Wicked flowers and for me not a exciting as the yellow ones. Next year I will plant yellow.
With this I had lots of herbs too.

 Wicked sunflower.

Something ate one of the cucumber plants.

Black Beans Blooming

 String Beans

A beautiful squash in the GH.

 First Pepper

These round squashes just keep on growing.

 Cucumbers

More peas coming.

Have a great Saturday

Great to hear you harvested the cucumbers.
I look forward to seeing your black beans ... I think they will be ready in late August.

The wind sounds annoying but at least you've got so many beautiful vegetables 💚

Great photos Nicole, you've had a good crop. We've lost a lot to the slugs and snails this year :-(
Keep safe, and have a good weekend.

Based on the state of your garden, you'd swear that sustained wind was good for it! Mine should look so good!

Your garden yield is great, especially considering the winds. It's pretty still here, hot and humid with heat advisories for today.

I look forward to more sunflower photos :)

Your garden is looking amazing! I planted some giant sunflowers but none of them grew. But my shorter ones have grown. And hurrah for fresh veggies. Happy new week Nicole.

Wow! Your garden is doing well and yielding plenty of edibles. We are in the midst of a heat wave and hopefully, the plants in my garden will manage to sustain.
