Wednesday

Hey Everyone!

I don't normally post on Wednesday but, I had to go to the store this AM and took some photos.

Leaving my house, pretty foggy this AM.

All over town there are Tsunami routes.
We have been in 1 Tsunami evacuation since we moved here.
Not fun.

When I say I live on sand, I am not kidding. This is a dune right on the road to the store.
This is where the Siuslaw river meets the Pacific
Sometimes whales come up the river. Not today though.
When the fog lifts you see more sand dunes.
The road runs along the river into town.
On the other side of the road are the seaside trees that just get beaten by the wind.

Well that is some of my surroundings.
Wishing everyone a great day.

I doubt anyone likes fog but hey, what can you do? 🤷‍♂️

Looks like it was kinda messy 😏

You live in a beautiful place, even if it is windy! Valerie

Somewhat eerie looking surroundings! Is there any of the western fire smoke mixed in that fog?

It is a gorgeous coastline but it's not hard to imagine the damage a tsunami could do rolling from the Pacific. The coastline of Oregon might change in a hurry.

Thanks for the tour.

I remember one year I was in San Diego when the fog rolled in. It was like a blanket and very hard to describe until you live through it. Quite an experience, especially where you live. Those sand dunes could be dangerous if there ever is a tsunami where you live. I really enjoyed these foggy photos, though. Your photos showed fog perfectly.

I would want more sunny days. But here on this mountain I want more rainy days, lol. Just can't please us, huh.

It is great to see these photos. You do live right on the sand for sure. Does it ever get blown into the road? These are great photos Nicole. hugs-Erika

I've never seen surroundings like that. So different from anything I've ever seen. I can't imagine whales!
