Happy Tuesday!
This is T Stands for jerky and I am linking up with Elizabeth
I think I told all of you that I have been dehydrating my garden harvest. For me it seems to be better than canning and lasts much longer. However, I have canned some items too. The other day I actually made jerky. Ohhh so much fun and it turned out great. I think next time I will make my own marinade though.

Beautiful abstract!
Making jerky does sound fun. And I do like your windy painting. I like the idea of an abstract in the wind. have a great T day. Hugs-Erika
Dehydrating harvest is a great idea but do you preserve vegetables this way? Your homemade jerky looks delicious!
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
I love dehydrating foods too, great art piece Happy T wishes Kathy
...I think that I will stick with canning.
Oh wow. Wish I wasn't a vegetarian. The jerky looks good. I bought a dehydrator when I was trying to dry my Roma tomatoes and the flies were getting to them before they could dry sufficiently.
I absolutely love your painting. It looks like the eye of the storm. Thanks for sharing it, your jerky, and your hot water with us for T this anniversary Tuesday, dear Nicole.
You've got so many goodies in here, Nicole. š
Well done on canning and drying your products. I need to freeze some of my herbs, they have grown so much! Happy T day, Valerie
I love your abstract art Nicole.
Happy T-Day xx
Dehydrating your own jerky is really a neat way to cook.

Dehydrating food sounds a great idea! Wish I could do all the strawberries as we have more than enough jam and the freezer is full too.
I like your abstract painting.

abstract in the wind- love it Nicole! Happy T day!
Happy 8th Tea for Tuesday Anniversay! Jerky? Never had that and I'm not sure what it is!
Have a great crafty week ((Lyn))
Making jerky sounds interesting. I buy dried fruit but have never made it myself. I love that abstract! Happy T Anniversary :)
Wow, so cool to make your own jerky! It looks delicious and I often enjoy a cup of hot water too š. Hope the winds calm and your painting captures then beautifully. Wishing you a very Happy anniversary T Day! Hugs, Jo x
I've never tried dehydrating foods and I can't remember trying Jerky either. Enjoy your hot water.
Boa tarde Nicole. ParabƩns pelo seu trabalho e postagem.
The jerky looks good!
Nice painting of the wind. Reminds me of the howling winter wind. :)
I sometimes drink hot water, when tea isn't available. My hubby says that is what tea taste like to him, hot water. LOL your painting captures the wind. That is what I think and why I still wear a mask in the stores; not all who don't wear masks are vaccinated.
Happy T Day!
Looooove jerky! Must make some again, too!
Great painting. It´s so sticky today, this looks refreshing!
Love the abstract, Nicole. Makes me want to go paint something.
Hot water with lemon used to be one of my favorite things to drink - I need to get back to it.
That Jerky looks amazing. My hubby makes it when we have extra meat but that has not happened in awhile. I need to figure out how to do it myself. I tried some tomato jerky last year with tons of italian herbs and parmessan and it was fabulous.
Happy T-day a bit late!
You certainly captured the wind. Himself has the same low opinion of tea, too. Happy T Day
I had to look up jerky, and it sounds really good. I assume you re-hydrate it before eating? Here they dry many things, like sun dried tomatoes and sun dried figs. The jamon (Iberian ham) gets dried in special fly free warehouses. Our village has four of these businesses because our air is so dry. But meat, I would be afraid the flies got to it drying it at home....
Happy T-Day-Blog-a-versary,
