Greetings!
Wow, what a busy few days I have had.
I am making changes on my website and, (thank the selling gods) people are stocking up on what I have. Orders, orders, orders. I am very thankful.
Today though is T Stands for art class.
On Friday I took an art class on acrylic painting. I like the teacher, a pleasant Aussie accent, and I did learn some neat little tricks. However, the painting was a seascape, and well you all know how much I like working with blue. (NOT)
I went with it though. I got the sky in, the clouds and then he started on the sea. Now he had us put a purple hue and shadows to the clouds, but when going to the water he never put that purple color in for reflection. The painting looked off. So I waited a day to see if I would change my mind about it and before I could think I white washed the sea. I should have take a photo to show you what I meant. I will redo it this week.
Also T Stands for a new coffee maker. My old one finally bit the dust. This is and $18.00 coffee maker and I swear it makes the best coffee and it keeps it hot. I only drink 1 or 2 cups of coffee a month, if that, but this maker may change my mind. LOL
I hope everyone is doing well. I will be around today to catch up on post. Have a great day!

Good morning-loving your painting so far congrats on your sales and new coffee maker-nothing like a good working coffee maker. Happy T wishes
That coffee will keep you going!
Well, the clouds look beautiful and very real. I am excited to see the completed painting.
Happy Tea Day,
Kate
...being busy is a good thing.
The coffee maker makes a huge difference in how the coffee tastes. I drink one cup each morning and don't use the big coffee maker for that. I do keep one for the times I need more than a coupla cups :) Happy T Tuesday! -and beware the Delta variant! I just wish people would get vaccinated :(
Wow, you may not like blue but your beach scene is wonderful. You really know how to paint clouds. And I don't drink coffee but I have one of those inexpensive tiny coffee makers for company. Sometimes the less costly things work and last the longest. (And sometimes they don't) but I wish you good luck with this coffeemaker Nicole. Happy T day. Hugs-Erika
The painting looks grest. Enjoy your coffee, Valerie
Your painting is so beautiful and I continue to marvel in your artistic abilities.
Great sky and thank you. Freddie is right here with "another one bites the dust"!
Have a great day (or evening)
beautiful clouds in your painting. Looking forward to seeing how you finish it. Happy T day!
I love your beach and the clouds are amazing! Good buy with the coffee maker, I have a similar one, and they make great coffee. Elle xx
Happy cups of coffee Nicole. Thanks for dropping by my blog today
Much💛love
I like the clouds you have and will be interested to see the sea. I read your previous post and laughed. As a Native Oregonian I miss that damp, windy, overcast beach weather. My family had beach property outside Yachats so I spent many summers being socked in with fog.
Your sky is looking good.
Congrats on the sales, well deserved!
I want to drag my beach chair into your painting. I look forward to seeing what you do with it. Happy T Day
Sometimes it's good to be busy!
I think your painting looks good.
All the best Jan
Boa noite Nicole. Pintura maravilhosa, parabéns.
I was sure I left you a comment earlier. I actually LOVE your clouds. The bit of lavender underneath brings out the fluffiness of the clouds. They are beautiful. I look forward to more as you draw the sea.
What a fabulous new coffee maker. Great look and a beautiful black, too. Thanks for sharing your painting and your new coffee maker with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole.
Your painting looks great; I couldn't do anything like that. It is funny, our coffee maker died the last day our family was here for a week. It was nice it only died the day they left. I went and got one at Walmart for 9.99, no clock or nothing and only one button. I make coffee for my hubby. I guess he likes it. :) I drink tea. Happy T Day!
I'm glad to hear people are liking your stuff, Nicole. 👏🏻 While I don't drink coffee, it's nice that you treated yourself somethin' rather useful 🙂
Oh, and I like the painting 💙 I don't mind the blue, actually 😜 Your painting is simple and realistic, at least to me 🤷♂️
Wow, such a beautiful painting! I'm in awe of that sky, it looks like a photograph - amazing 😁. Enjoy your cuppa and Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x
I love our sky, Nicole, so I know the rest of the painting will be awesome. Right now it looks like White Sands (where I was born). Hope you post your finished product. Glad you are getting lots of sales and have a new coffee maker better than your previous one. Happy late T-day!
A coffee maker makes a lot of difference. I drink one cup of coffee a day. Hubby and I have different coffee makers, so we each do our own.
Your painting is lovely. At the moment it looks like a very long beach in a tropical sea.
How wonderful you are getting lots of sales. That can't be bad.
Happy belated T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca
Wow! This is just the start and I love it - those clouds look really great! We've gone the way of coffee pods - still keeping our cafetière though! A very belated Happy T Day, Chrisx
Congrats on the sales!!! Your little coffee maker sounds excellent! Big Hugs!
