PPF

Greetings All!

It's Paint Party Friday and that means, well you know art for Friday. I created a piece that is simply entitled

"Imagination"

I was having a conversation with one of my young Nephews and it seemed to me that everything has to be very literal with youngsters. No place for imagination, day dreaming, or pretending. Seeking other places in a made up story just by thinking of a single word or seeing something outside. It is all explained and digitized. Everything in their face, everything recognized, no imagination.

Thus the art.

Be sure to stop by PPF to see what the other artists have created.

Simple, unusual and makes you think. 😉

At least for me, it is like that. 🖤💗🖤

No imagination would be very sad!
I traveled with my Niece "to Australia" and she even managed to imagine the long flight, laying down in her bed - not falling asleep! OK, that was 5 years ago. Hope she still has this - we all. Great work, making "a point"!

Right, art also includes your own imagination to make what you see in it.
I really like it speaks to your painted work of art!
Have a good day,
hugs Elke

I love your image, that bright right center of imagination. Imagination opens up so much to us.

This piece really caught my eye. So did your commentary catch my attention. My young great grand is quite the opposite. We limit video games and watching. Living on this mountain has him outdoors as much as he can be. When he passes me by I hear him talking to his "men". I ask "are you talking to yourself?" He lets me know that he has a crew he must oversee and he is giving them instructions. Sounds like he pays attention when his dad tells stories about what goes with his employees. Every day is a blessing.

Wonderful image. I love it.
Can't imagine with life would be like without an imagination. ;^)
I hope your nephews discover it soon. I believe it will wait for them.
Enjoy the weekend.

Great imagination. I must admit most of my art is quite literal nowadays, it used to be more imaginative I think.

Love your abstract painting. Youngers spend too much time with things they need to plug in, drives me mad.

Your art is lovely today, Nicole. It used to be when I was young, we used our imagination to make up stories and play games around them. Today, if a child isn't looking down at their cell phone, they are looking up at their computer screen playing the latest game. Imagination flew out the window when kids quit daydreaming and started game playing.
