Garden Saturday

Good Saturday Morning.
I have been up for awhile, taking care of business, and a trip to the store. Just a few items that I needed.
I still can't believe how the tourists will not comply to the mask rule in Oregon. It is mostly men and they are so smug about it. That is my bitch for the day.
It has been storming for the last 3 days. My garden just loves the rain water. I can literally watch the sunflowers grow. The take a lot of water.  I planted mostly cool weather plants this year, and it is a good thing I did. We are not having any type of hot weather this year.
So here goes. Flowers are finally blooming.

Red and Orange carrots with some white radishes.

Yellow squash yummmm

Garden lovin' the rain

Everything is soooo healthey

I need to stake the sunflowers

There it is for now. OMG! the sun just came out. Hurrraaayyyy.

Have a great Saturday everyone!

Maddening these non mask wearers. Water is really the key to the garden isn't it?

Once again, I'm in awe. You are already getting squash and I am just now getting a few leaves on mine. No vines or yellow flowers until weeks from now, I fear. Quite a haul you are getting. Your hard work has put lots of wonderful food on your table.

There's a mask rule but it's not being enforced? Not much of a rule, then :( That's a shame.

Your green thumb is showing :)

You are a wonderful gardener. I am not. My sister gave me a beautiful geranium for my birthday and I am already trying to kill it. Secrets for saving it please.

So plush and green--and the flowers are bright in the rain. :)

Nicole your garden is lovely! I love how you set your pots on palettes of wood. Very smart! The carrot harvest is wonderful! :)
