Garden Saturday

Good Saturday Morning!

It's Garden Saturday and even with the wicked wind the garden is doing great! We have lots of Grey Squash and peas and I traded some for smoked trout last week. My friend's husband fishes everyday and has a great smoke recipe for the fish. It is so good!
Now for the garden.

 This tom plant has blooms!

Peppers are hard to grow here but these are doing OK.

Cucumbers are finally growing. It has been too cold. I am hoping this month will be warmer

On the other hand the dill loves the cool weather.

Poppies are

so pretty

This photo was taken last week and these peas have flowers so more peas on the way.

Cabbage
peas, and
the tall plant with the yellow flowers is broccoli.

I know
broccoli is
a cool weather plant but that works for the OR. coast.

Yellow squash. Last year I didn't get much, this year a good crop.

Lots of grey squash

I moved these carrots outside. They are doing better than in the GH.

The cabbage is doing so well and the leaves are huge and healthy.

These beans are doing very well. Beans take forever to grow here so I am happy with this growth. I have 5 different types of bean plants.

Potatoes
do very
well here.

3 types of
lettuce
all clean

Drying dill and oregano.

Today it's raining so the garden is loving it. You know this next part. Even if you have a square foot of deck space you can grow something. So just try it!
Have a great day today.

Your garden is doing so well. Your peppers look great. Mine (leaves) have turned yellow. NOT a good sign. And a dill harvest already, while I just got mine planted. Lucky you, dear Nicole.
