Greetings!
I am so excited to share my garden today. Last Thursday as I was checking and watering the garden I noticed that Zucchini is already growing. If you garden you know how thrilling it is to see plants doing their job with such ease. Then on Friday I noticed yellow squash coming to life!
Having a garden here on the Oregon coast adds another job of protecting the plants from the horrendous daily (f@$%^^^%^) wind. Yesterday it started early and lasted well into the night. So, the yard garden had to be covered all day. As soon as the sun came up this AM I uncovered everything for the morning sun. I will be covering it all up in a few hours.

As you can see I don't have expensive containers, or planters. I got most of them at the $ store and containers I have on hand. What I am trying to say is, you can grow food in just about anything as long as there is good drainage, and you don't need a lot of space.
