Veggie Burger Recipe

Greetings!

I don't know how I forgot to put the recipe of the Veggie Burgers on that previous post but here it is now.  OK, most of you know I don't measure. I just make things by eye and feel. I will try to get measurements for you.
As I said before I change it up with
what I have in my veggie bin.
You will need;
raw veggies, such as carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, bell pepper, onion and garlic.
1 can of black beans and 1 can of chip peas. You can use any kind of bean that you like.
1 or 2 eggs, bread crumbs, seasonings of your choice.
Chop the veggies very small in a blender or by hand if you are that good. giggle. Some recipes say to saute these and then set aside. I don't, but you do have that option. Take the beans drain and rinse. I mash them up, especially the chick peas. Put it all in a bowl and then add your seasonings. I like garlic salt, cumin, chili powders. But again use what you like. Once in the bowl add 1 egg and enough bread crumbs to thicken it up to form patties. I make my own bread crumbs from old bread.  For me I make thinner patties so the inside will cook thoroughly. I brown them in a pan on the stove then pop them in the oven at 350° for about 12 minutes.  Other items I add are left over rice or quinoa.
How I use my veggie meat.
Burgers of course.

A patty with potatoes and avocado

And tonight I am making taco dinner and my tacos will be made with veggie meat. OMG so good.
Let me know if you make these and how you like them.

A recipe the way I like it!
Will do it for myself only, Hubby sadly cannot have beans (pancreas nearly gone).

I don't make those, but I surely do eat 'em. 👅

They look really good, Nic. Plus the avocado! 💚

The burgers look very tasty Nicole. Hubby sometimes makes something very similar. Thanks for the recipe.

I have the occasional burger but never veggie. I do love beans, though...
