T Stands for Pantone

 Hi Everyone!
Today is the T party over at Bluebeard and Elizabeth. Each week the T gang shows off a drink, art and other things. How can you go wrong with that? Come by to see what it is all about.

First
I am so happy that Pantone chose two colors that I love together.
Yes, these are the colors for 2021.
Hurrayyyy.

Monday I had a lot to do with different medical agencies so I was on the phone and then waiting for a call back.
I feel like I got nothing else done. LOL

I did get this abstract finished. I really love this type of painting.
Add paint, remove it, add paint remove it, add paint.
Ohhhh with pantone yellow. :)

Now Mr. M. likes tea, well English Breakfast tea.
I can't remember if I showed this before or not, but I have this
wonderful box of tea that my Son sent to me

For me though I am having hot water.
I heat the water in the micro then pour it into
my thermos sipper.

Well, Mr. M. just turned on football. "gag"
I am going up stairs to watch something good. LOL

Hi Love your painting, awesome gift of teas-that was a thoughtful gift for sure and you will have a great box for your craft room afterwards.
Happy T hugs Kathy

I love these two colors together too- and I had a top that was a bit abstract in the same colors about 5 years ago:) Your abstract is fabulous Nicole! And what a super tea box with such a great variety. Happy T day!

I hate being on the phone!
For the printer back then we needed pantone, too, now... any color, I do not print no more. I nearly forgot about this (not good).
Beautiful work!
:-)
I´d rather have tea and football!!
Happy T-day!

I love your abstract. It is beautiful. I'm not sure I care for those Pantone colors for 2021. We need something bright and happy, and gray is anything BUT bright and happy.

That is an amazing box of tea. Lots of choices. too. I want that elephant and India scene on front of the box (grin). Your son was very thoughtful. Thanks for sharing your husband's teas and your hot water with us for T this Tuesday, dear Nicole. I take it you don't care for football!

Oh, what a great collection of tea! And I love that tea box. Beautiful! Have nice day! :)

The tea box looks very inviting. I am not a big fan of tea, and my husband likes just plain black tea (like Lipton), so we don't have anything fancy. My daughter, however, loves really unusual tea and herb blends, so she's more interesting.

Beautiful painting. Those colors look great together. I like the elephant on the tea box. And the contents look delicious. Happy T-Day!

...I wasn't familiar with the term pantone, thanks.

Wonderful abstract! I’d love to watch your “add paint, remove it” process. Abstracts elude me. I see shore birds and docks in this one. Love it!

I had not heard of Pantone, but I read up on it. (I always learn something new in these blogs). I must admit if there should be a colour of the year, then 2021 should not be grey, but then I am an optimist and I am just willing 2021 to be more colourful than this year.
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

Those colours are yummy, and so is your art Nicole! I'm really enjoying using yellow oxide and violet lately. I love wearing the mustard yellow colour too, it seems to go well with my fiery red (from a bottle) hair :D
Those teas look good! Some lovely collage materials there ;)
My hubby knows not to turn on the football when I'm in the room, he gets relegated to the kitchen, hahaha.
Happy T Day,
Alison xx

Illuminating is such a great name for that shade of yellow. So bright and hopeful for 2021. I always wanted the job of naming the colors of crayons. Your tea chest is really beautiful . Happy T Day

Your abstract page is lovely, Nicole.

Personally, I'm not attracted to this year's Pantone choices at all. It's all a matter of taste.

We do agree on football however. "gag."

Happy T-day! Stay safe and well. Hugs, Eileen

That assortment of tea looks wonderful! Yellow and grey do go very well together and your abstract displays that very nicely. I'm with you on the football! a good chick flick would be much more enjoyable ~ Blessings

That is a fabulous box of tea Nicole. Enjoy it. And grey and yellow are amazing together. I like grey. And I would have never said yellow until we had an art journal journey month challenge of yellow, and after using it I now really like it. Hope it was a good T day as I see you Wednesday ended up being good but not weather wise.
