Great paintings, I love this art form! Valerie
I am in awe of you going the extra mile and finding these wonderful pieces for us to see. Great examples, dear Nicole.
Oh boy, Cubism? Not my choice either. My current dry spell doesn’t look too bad, after all.
Boa tarde minha querida amiga. As pinturas são maravilhosas, parabéns pela excelente matéria.
thank you dear Nichole for the brief video :)
i think cubism quite intensive and figurative type of the art of painting though it seems to adds limits to the thoughts of viewer (my opinion)
wishing you all the best my wonderful friend!
It's fascinating that Cubism was invented and developed more than 100 years ago, yet many people still find it revolutionary and disturbing. To me, that suggests the powerful imagination of Picasso, Braque, and the other painters who innovated the style. I enjoyed your choice of images.

Beautiful. I have a cat like that here (a postcard, of course, only).
lol, understand you. The pieces you share...... some I like, others I don´t. Like life in a way.
Take care.
I enjoyed the cubism post. It's encouraging when you see how often some new idea breaks out :)
Great post on cubism Nicole! I think everyone had challenges with this one, including me lol! :)
Think I've heard of it, but just seeing those visuals... 😏 That's somethin' else, alright! 🤷♂️ Unusual, yes. But also, interesting and likable! 👌🏻
I love your approach because I learned more about Cubism than I had any idea about. It surely, though it seems simplistic, is a very complicated approach to expression. And, Wow to you choice of examples. I am glad you chose to play it safe because we all benefitted from your educational approach. Thank you for that ... and I do wear a mask and wish that everyone would ... I hope you are in a place where "safe" is a possibility. Have a wonderful Holiday from the appropriate distance :)
