T for Tuesday is laugh and AEDM

 Hi Everyone!

I am posting this now because we are getting another wind storm. We have warnings already to batten down the hatches. We are as prepared as can be.
I am joining in with the T-gang over at Bluebeard and Elizabeth
What is my drink you ask? Iced beer? Most of you know once in awhile I like an ice cold beer. My son says I like it cold because I don't really like the taste of beer. He might be right. LOL I have not had a beer in a few months but keep them on hand because I cook and bake with beer. The other day a cold beer sounded so good. I put a bottle of beer in the freezer. Then got my mug put it under some water and put that in the freezer. Then, I forgot about them. Some time later I remember and ran to the freezer to pulled both items out. The beer was almost frozen but I was able to slowly poured it into the mug. Wow iced beer! It was awesomely good.

As I was walking out of my art room I noticed my candle was burned down and leaving an unusual shadow. I snapped a shot looking down and this is what I got. I think it is pretty. Something about fire light.

I am also including AEDM with Leah.

This is a quick painting on a small canvas.

I think we all need a laugh. I found this on FB and just cracked up.
Leave it to grama to show this dude how to get things done.

Hi Nicole, take care in the storm those can be scary.
I don't drink beer unless I can find a gluten free version but your icy beer looks delicious-and would make a nice ad commercial photo. I love your little painting-I want to get back to painting again. Happy T wishes Kathy

We did that with a bottle of wine once or twice, but forgot it until the next day. It never survives the freezer treatment. You are lucky you remembered to drink it just in time.

Brrrr. I love cold beer... in summer, right now hot tea it is. Or hot beer. :-)
LOL, cool way Grandma choose! Good luck with that storm!

I tried to freeze 1/2 and 1/2 one time because I purchased too much. Talk about separating and looking like it had curdled once it thawed. I will only drink stout beer, and the last time I had a stout was four years ago. Glad your beer survived the near freeze. Thanks for sharing this with us for T this Tuesday.

That's an awesome painting, too. I really like it a LOT. And that granny had me laughing.

Sunday night's high winds caused a lot of trouble here in Connecticut. I like that candle photo. Lovely artwork. Happy T-Day!

Wow, the iced beer looks delicious! I've never tried it and it must have been the perfect way to cool down 😀. That's a lovely painting and the video made me smile too. Take care with that wind storm on the way and sending you Happy T Day wishes! Hugs, Jo x

You go, Gramma! The little painting will brighten up an empty spot. So satisfying to end up with a quick success like that. Firelight is unique in all its forms. Nothing like a candle burning, it brings me peace.

A cold beer always tastes good to me. Especially in a frosted glass. And your quick painting is beautiful-so much potential Nicole. Hope you have a great T day.

My hubby loves an iced beer like yours during the summer;)
Those wind storms-ugh. We just had one that knocked power out for many areas Sunday eve. Thankfully all was restored within 16 hours at the most- and it happened in the evening.
Lovely painting, and thanks for the hilarious gif! Happy T day!

I haven't had beer in decades. I never did see it served _that_ cold, but I preferred it cold, too :) I used to make beer biscuits and beer-battered cod. That candle image is lovely, and I like your tree art :) The video is hilarious lol Sadly, it won't work on my outdoor garbage can, coz that would solve some problems there lol

Happy T Tuesday!

I hope the storm didn't do much damage and that your electricity stayed on. The gif made me laugh - over and over. It's hard to stop watching. Very pretty canvas.

Happy T-Day! Stay safe and stay well. Hugs, Eileen

I don't drink beer but I love root beer in an icy mug. Your painting is so pretty. And you are right, we all need a laugh. Such a funny clip.
Happy Tea Day,

I hope the storm wasn't as bad as predicted. The candle flame pattern is very pretty. Grandma cracked me up. Thanks for the laugh. Happy T Day

Your clip made me laugh. So funny.
I'm glad you could save and enjoy your near frozen beer. I don't know in which hemisphere you live but here in Europe it is getting cold and it's no longer ice beer weather. In summer in our local bars you get your beer in frozen glasses. I'm already longing for summer, and it's only autumn....
Happy T-Day,
Hugs,
Lisca

OK, all things art are great, but granny did me in, watched it several times through, BUT what I ended up looking at was the tile floor......OMG, corner design in my fave...green. Now I want that in my bathroom...get out the sledge hammer.
Funny thing is we had a cold beer with our dinner last night, almost winter burnt we are having a warm thang happening. Haven’t had one since summer. Donna
